just bellsouth ADSL 3mb/384KB connection but on dec. 15th im getting 6mb/512KB

thats normal, if your downloading or uploading fully, it takes alot longer to send and recive packets.

most people use the default, i would have thought that most people would customize it and use something else.

I have had zero problems with 1.5, i had a few with 1.0

Alot of the time you cannot turn it off. when i was in school i had a edidting computer and i put a better video card in it and i could not turn off the onboard video in the bios, you can just not assing it to a monitor in the display properities, then its off.

Also if you notice he says he is playing a game, but its just a video in windows media player.

you got a problem there if it goes that slow, when i had my cable i could download from bt at over 800kb/s and no i can download at about 350-380kb/s on bt. Its the best way to get files.

same here i use limewire pro and i get download speeds of over 250KB/s all the time. and bittorrent just maxes out my line. anything you can find on bearshare you can find on limewire or bt.

NO... if it was a dos attack the hole site would not work, and it would not work all the time. this is the classic case were a script just can't handel the amount of traffic that is being requested of it.

BearShare is a hell hole.

I think its for the server, but you will have to ask ca3le on that one one.

what are u advertised speeds? and what kinda modem do you got.

Id much rather have a product that was made in america then some cheap product made my some jackass who has no pride in his work.
