  1. update it too 10.5.2 then plug the printer directly into the computer, and run software update. Leopard will find the drives automatically for the printer. Does it work on any other computer? One thing too keep in mind is it just may not work because netgear has never tested it, and tried to get it too work with a mac. I have tried one for linksys and I couldn't get it too work with OS X and linksys told me that it just wont work with a mac.
  2. man starship, You really do make it easy for people to fuck you.... I wonder if thats why shug likes going to your house so much
  3. Yes they will still be able to connect. But if you are doing this for security reasons, don't waste your time.
  4. Good advice. if you want to be extra safe, especially if you are moving around a lot when working on a computer always remember to keep a arm or leg on a unpainted part of the chassis so you don't fry some parts. The 1000's of times I have worked on computers, I have never used a static strap and never will, but I have never fried a single part because I always keep something touching unpainted metal.
  5. 9600gt uses more power then a 8600gt
  6. 375 will be cutting it really close. It would be best to upgrade it to atleast 450.
  7. set the DNS as 192.168.2.1
  8. I'm just guessing here, but it sounds like you need a new phone
  9. Yea you gotta pay extra for Saturday delivery. You can get newegg to deliver on saturday, only if you call UPS after they are in possession of it, and pay extra for it.
  10. your drive is not failing. Its just something that can happen with any OS. Do what volt. said and also do a disk defrag.
  11. Did you do a upgrade? if you did you really should do a clean install. I haven't had any problems with leopard at all. But 10.5.2 fixes quite a bit of things tho, especially with networking, also allows you to download a graphics update that makes a huge difference.
  12. Have you updated to 10.5.2 yet?
  13. Yes the IDE drive is causing the problem. Try removing the jumper, and then put the drive on the other IDE connector on the cable.
  14. a 8600gt will run doom 3 on the highest quality at 1920x1200 with no problem. And will even run UT3 really well at 1680x1050
  15. I would wait, the 9600GT is going to be coming out real soon. So prices will drop on the current stuff, and they are not suppose to be that expensive. What do you need 8GB of ram for? And are you running a 64bit OS?
  16. BSOD is blue screen of death For your system stick with XP. only go vista when you buy a new PC.
  17. You never want to do that with a quad core. You would actually hurt your self, by running XP. If you ran windows server 2k3 you would be alright.
  18. Ive bought all my LCD monitors from Either Newegg, Apple, And 1 at bestbuy.
  19. yes the bigger the monitor, the higher the chance of getting dead pixels. In theory... But monitors are so good today that you really don't have to worry about it. Every LCD that I have bought has had no dead pixels. And ive just been getting bigger, and bigger. I have a 24" monitor at home, and a 30" at work, with no deal pixels.
  20. They are both DX10 cards. But they will never run games in DX10 mode with a playable framerate.
  21. Unless your going for a 8800 utlra with SLI it doesn't matter anyway. Your not running the game under DX10. There are only a hand full of video games that use it, and you need some bad ass cards to play it. So your going to be using DX9 no matter what.
  22. Yep, No problems here. even with the stripper pole
  23. Damn 2% I got ripped off then. My rent went up 5% last august. Maybe its really different in florida....
  24. Just tell them rent is going up a $100 when your lease is up, due to cost of living increases. He is doing it when the lease is up right?
  25. It may be because of the nvidia chip set. Some times they are very picky about the type of ram, and video cards you use.
