Hmm, that's a good idea... I run over eight programs when scanning my computer for stuff, and I get major lag issues while trying to turn them on one by one. Yeah, Ad-Aware freezes alot, however it usually comes back. If you are sitting there just starring at it, I suggest you don't, go to sleep or something. If you did go to sleep and you came back and it was frozen on directx, might be a problem.

On the note of removing Internet Explorer from Windows XP, you can... It's an option in Add/Remove Windows Components. No reason to though, Firefox might not be able to view a few websites, so I just use the Show in IE plugin. hehe. Slackware and DSL (Damn Small Linux!) FTW!!!

Firefox is setup faster then Internet Explorer, another reason why IE is the sux. =D

First, may I suggest that you go directly to Norton first? They provide very brutal ways of uninstalling it, and you will find no success doing so under safe mode, it won't allow it.
