  1. If it was uncapped than it would be the same for every computer on the modem, it's not convincing because that is the average rate shown by a cached test.
  2. I couldn't see it, sun was directly over head, I certainly heard it though. :0
  3. It's cached. Empty out your cache and retest, it's different on two computers.
  4. Verizon average is 60ms to testmy.net based on another thread I started.
  5. It means the average for verizon's upload and download scores for testmy.net is being messed up by a service also provided by verizon called FiOS, that is 7 times better than what we have now.
  6. Firewalls are usually to blame when you have 2 out of 3MB/s. And you can't wait an hour after completion, I think they have to tidy up afterwards or something, hehe.
  7. There's nothing wrong with their department, it's only the verizon database, if you try loading your personal information online, you'll notice it's very slow. The DB said I didn't even have DSL a few days ago when I upgraded to 3.0, it's very unstable. I believe it's getting fixed soon, and I certainly hope so. There's nothing really out of the ordinary with departments gone clueless in businesses.

  9. Finally, I got the last upgrade from Verizon before hitting FiOS, 3.0 down, and 786 up. I understand that the average is 2.7 down for most verizon users? :::.. As you would know, I've already followed all the stickies many times before and have done so again to make doublt certain. I also power cycled everything, took out the tweaks, etc. Here are my ping and tracert results. My old ping was 60 so that's great. Another thing, since I'm not so sure of what I have, and neither is the Verizon "Encore" Support team, I'm wondering if there's anyway to tell if I have PPPoE or something else? MSS - 1460 MTU - 1500 (Behind a router, Linksys WRT54G Wireless G Router.) Thank you!
  10. lol, business line? FiOS comes in 5mb/s down 2mb/s up for 30 a month 15mb/s down 2mb/s up for 50 a month and the business line they don't seem to advertise very well, what you have. However, the stats for the 3rd package are 30mb/s down and 5mb/s up... Your upload is a little ackward...
  11. On a similar note, Van, how can we tell what MSS we're on, broadbandreport?
  12. 3000 pack runs at best 2700 usually. Just follow the stickies in this section and see what you can come up with.
  13. Price doesn't increase with out the phone service.
  14. I'd actuallly would like to ask the same question myself, it works if you put in 192.168.1.1 or the modem number.
  15. Call at the beginning of each business month, FiOS,uses Fiber Optic lines that must be directly installed into your house for it to work such as any other service.
  16. Should sticky successful help with problems, especially that lsass.exe issue with rat if they get it done. heh
  17. You press modify and it gives me an error, what's done is done, I already fixed it and now it's too late. I'm sorry I made this thread, but it was before I called Linksys, I was hoping to see if anyone else also had Gunz Online with a router and if they had the same issue.
  18. No, I can't. It won't let me, if gives me some stupid error and I'm not willing to empty my cache and cookies to fix it.
  19. AVG ant-virus with built in Firewall. The perfect free combo.
  20. Like I did, it didn't matter though, I ended it at level 52, the last upgrade you can get is at level 50, so I've experienced the full package and there's nothing more in it.
  21. It's a major hit to the thumb for a gamer.
