Webkit If I get to it, I update every few days, I used to do it daily. Reason, it's in my world, the most secure, simple, it's what I need. And I enjoy helping the developers, and doin a bit myself, what I can anyway.

They were banned a while ago from by the owner of this site, they spammed here so bad, they were banned .

From my limited use of torrent programs, they all have this download manager ( connection settings,) maybe not as deep as setting registry items) within the configuration settings, Makes me think there's conflicting settings between that, and whatever manager he has running. no ?

I'm not sure what you were typing your IP machine IP into the address bar for , maybe look those instructions over, a bit slower, when you come to a question, post it here. EDIT: OK, I got you, look , check here to see a list of router default passwords. Hope it helps. Or post what router you have, and I'll see if I can find it.

Cool ! Did you get cablenut yet ? Works really well, you can try different settings and see how it goes for you.

True dat ! But seriously, This is the thing, there are so many sites out there that clainm they have the golden kit for all solutions, they have the best, award winning software, they are the top picks of this site and that site. Bullshit !!!!!!!! There all just trying to keep up with those writing code to infiltrate your machine, to get more money from a plethora of ways. Thats what they do, all day, all night, write shit to get away from the definitions that were found and written by spyware detector companies, and there just as good at it as each other. It's not going to slow, or stop, in fact, as of late, this shit has blossomed to unbelievable heights. There's millions to be made. The worst part here is that many, many times, your personal information is being logged. There are more key loggers out there than ever before, if you have EVER , since your last reformat, (or since you have had your computer) logged onto your bank, or credit card place, or any personal info, then they have it, that simple. It's called identity theft, they might not use it today, or this year, but they will find themselves eventually looking at your info to get what they want or feel they need.

My first guess, (I'm sticking to my first thought in this thread) is you have a virus, now I know you have "removed them, and darn near from what you say every different program detected another one, but you surely have "Vundo" , you will not get rid of this thing, no matter who, what where and or whatever you read or are told, no matter what you install, uninstall, delete, whatever ! You won't get rid of it until you reformat that machine. It hides, and is literally undetectable, by anything , no matter, because they write DAILY code to insure they stay ahead of the "competition " which are all those programs you keep switching to. And it is updated every time you start that machine, ( in other words, any time it is connected to an external network ) or from another machine on that network in your house . Once again, you decide how long you would like to go through this.

Could you check the configuration of your sensor app, and see if it really isn't a GPU , but the die, or chipset, or who knows, see what i mean ?
-
The oldest trick in the book, it's like a presidential campaign, one tells you the other one is bad. Most every opposite program your going to install will detect the other program as a virus, or spyware.
-
Either way, anymore, your going to have to purchase a antivirus software to get what you want, you can scour the planet of servers for any, free version anymore that detects the things. No matter.
-
I should have said it this way, AVG free did not detect virtumonde , or in other words vundo. I searched it out, and it's not the first time the free version doesn't detect it, Many, if not most free versions don't. Nice huh ? And that one is really scummy !
-
Only if your not happy w/ your current spyware/ adware / and it also detects virus's , I found out yesterday on a friends machine, that AVG free didn't !!!! I was shocked.

First off, they are to different types of connections, therefore the setting within the registry are going to differ from one to another. Big time. Personally I have used download managers, but never found any , whatsoever use for them, and all they do is limit /allocate the preferred data download per user instruction. What is the sense in that ? Just more "clutter " within the ranks of the already bloated windows registry. If you plan to keep both connections, ( although I can't see why) you can't use them at the same time, ad your paying for both, when you can only use one. Maybe two different intranet networks ? Myself, I can only really absorb one video at a time. And If I need to download something fast, I'm not using a D/L manager, I just only download that one item. Maybe, you could get rid of all the manager stuff, and download a network registry adjusting device , one called "cablenut " seems to be the popular one. Here's the link from testmy.net, we have been blessed by a man called Vanburen, he has taken the time to give us so many settings called "ccs" files that will tweak the registry settings to the specific connection, and operating system you have.

I'm Not sure what your doing, are you saying you have two modems connected to one machine ? And where and why did you mess around with how many connections allowed ?

To each his own. The only thing that will "slow" a computer down that is in spybot is tea timer, it constantly runs in the background to monitor . There is a setting to shut it off. Thats the first time I have heard of that, anyone else having an issue w/ spybot ? Myself, I don't click on all those ads and junk, nor do I install anything that I don't need, only allow cookies from a couple site that must have them, and testmy.net so it logs me in when I open my browser. No place else. And no temp internet files. clear cache on browser exit. and there's no problem. Hope you get all this straightened out.

Can someone please explain the difference between these.
mudmanc4 replied to ratchet's topic in General Help
The last one ( why I'm going last to first is beyond me lol ) is used to put the picture, or video inside where you type text in a bb ( for a simple term ) And the top two depending of the specific setting, all forums don't accept BB code, all email programs don't accept BBcode , only html , will place the link in the same field. Just depends on what is allowed in what forum, or (bb) The last one will show the link to be clicked on in the forum, if forum is set to accept it. Here , at testmy.net , you can use the /img tag or the /url tag There's alot you can do with this stuff. EDIT: I'm sure some can add, or correct this as well. -
You mean this link ? CLICK THE COLORED THING

I'll ask a crazy question, are you sure you put the correct battery in there, and a new charged one at that ? And did you put the battery in the correct way ? By removing the battery, or the battery being too low to hold the information, the bios should reset to defaults , did you get the message when turning the machine on the first time after replacing the battery ?

Ah, torrent port setup. Have look at this thread . If you still can't get it right, post back here.
