I'm wondering if you have contacted smartbro about this yet.

I guess we found the issue now haven't we ? But listen, it might be a setting within the cleaner programs, deleting something it should not be, or installing something nasty lol Just go bck and go through the same steps again, except this time, use the ccleaner link, it has a section to clean registry "turds" left all over the place from those programs that you were using.

OMFG I love it when inanimate objects get "teabagged " , did the server look like this >>>>
-
What the hell, you must have your balls layin on the frickin server :haha:

Intel business class boards are awesome, unless of course your trying to teak the shit outta the thing. Reliable, three year no questions asked warranty, among other things, I have a DG33BU w/ a 4600 in it, 2 gigs ddr2 , no bullshit on there like " you need this and that to keep your system running good" , and that thing flies like the wind, snap snap ! I know your probably into more then that , but I also have other systems, and the Intel boards blow the shit outta most of them. For day to day things anyway. How fast you like to see the local files load is one thing, milliseconds, gaming , thats another.

Good, dammit, that was pissin me off Anyway, get rid of that crap of a defrag program, it's just mire useless crap on your machine that surely "phones home", just use windows, it's worked for a century or more. I never use anything more than ccleaner, and spybot.

This is actually good news, once you get rid of virus's, look for more, there gonna be there. Now, after your confident (as much as any of us could be) that your system is free of the nasties, place your OS install disk in, (hit exit when the autorun screen comes up) goto start~run type "CMD" type "sfc /scannow" without the quotation marks. This will depending on the severity, it could take 45 mintes, what this does is scan and verify system files the OS needs in certain places, and repair/replace as needed. I should add, you will need the XP cd key as well.

Not sure if there;s anything like that around here or not, pretty sure I can get DSL through windstream, this is what alltel landline calls themselves now, they also have sat.

Nice machine clayjjojo Storage is good, I have plenty myself. For things I know I 'll need over and again, they get burnt and chucked from the HDD.

Not yet, wanna tell me about it ?

I have an issue with the fact that the cable company is choosing what i get to watch, I choose, not them. The speed issue ?, well, thats gonna stink ! I should add, I only watch a couple hours of TV a week, and those two channels are going, so I have no need for all that other CRAP.
-
Well I'm thinking of switching to satellite from a 15/7 cable connection. So I might be right there w. you soon lol Just to clear things up, the site isn't mine, ( wish it were) lol I too "lurked" and used the speed test for almost a year before signing up, the speed tests are the best here, thats why i joined, that and after reading all the posts i could from a guests view, I couldn't stop myself from answering posts lol just never stopped postin

Hey basser-x , welcome to testmy.net, how'd you find us ?
-
My first thought would be they had a bad card in a node, this would account for a bandwidth loss during the evening when network traffic was at it's highest so the traffic was being routed through the properly functioning parts of the equipment, and it finally took a deep southbound turn that seriously effected everything going through it. Sometimes it's not always that simple to diagnose a node issue since there are so many that really have no concern that there system is running slow because there only on during the slow time, or they just have no idea at all so they never call because there used to it being this way. So unless you have eager technicians , or in other words intelligent life forms running the local ISP area, you don't get far and this goes on until it finally shits out. Or there could have been a bad leak somewhere from weather, and the recent thaw, wind and rain took it's toll. Who knows, but hey, you got your service back up there, for now lol

NIce !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see what it does

I dont c much off the top other than several reg keys that I wouldnt have in there. u can submit this to there sire for result definitions. "vundo" is running rampid right now, and hides itself in tight corners until it progresses. might want to try scanning 4 virus's and malwaee of any type in safe mode, w/ a couple different programs.
-
I'll have to read back.......... but I am sure I suggested this in the beginning of this thing. I bet There's a mess of things in there, I would definitely as zalternate suggests and run a hijack test, and a different malware detector.

So let me get myself straight here. The page, and the pictures loaded within the time that you posted from those screenshots, correct ?

make sure your using one of the permitted picture formats and just post it as an attatchment. As to the another test site, why not just use testmy.net and skip all the issues.

Now goto the very bottom of the page and take a screenshot of the text that starts with "
