you mean the LAN setting? or the Canopy configuration setting? in effect, did your reformatting Windows improve your Smartbro speed?

Guys, I just formatted my pc due to some os problem, now that i have my os good and running i saw my connection profile from smartbro is missing, though i still have my connection, can anyone have an idea how to get back to my old settings? or, is it ok not having that profile?

paying Php 998 for a stable PLDT MyDSL 600-800 kbps connection is better than a stupid P999 for a crappy unstable 384 Smartbro

Basically on my own opinion, Explanation for this is that since smartbro is a subsidiary of pldt, pldt uses or should i say leeching with smartbro's inet servers which is at present is not that congested. Connection from selected areas where diverted to this servers for a result of freeing congestion on pldt servers. To prove this theory, Im a subscriber of mydsl but my IP add comes from smartbro. hehehe...

Even if your getting 600kbps to 800kbps on a mydsl plan is definitely worth a buck against smartbro of 380+ kbps on the same monthly rate.

What are you using now? I'm still using SmartBro here, and Internet connection is somewhat disappointing. I hope to change it next year.

smartbro-- too slow >sectorusercount is only 26. my range from smartbro station is 2989 feet. can i still increase my speed???? dl on utorrent average is 13kbps-20kbps..i cant even play an online game while downloading a torrent...can anybody help how can i increase my connection speed...i'm a newbz on computer..

there is a way to know if your account has been upgraded. First, go to your OLD portal page. portal dot smartbro dot net then look at the transaction history then look at the packagename and confirm it if it is wr512 if it its, then congratulations!

And right now they are always sending me mails (through the postal service) that I need to pay 10-12 thousand pesos or else they're going to forward my name to the attorney etc... you can't go from 333 to 500 unless smartbro do some physical changes on your locations AP. the tweaks offered in this site will just help you maximize the allocated speed to make sure that the 384 that was given to you will be utilized the way you want it.

Call smartbro service at *1888 on your cell. Ask to speak to a supervisor. They will say none is available. Tell them you won't hang up until you speak to one. If after 15 minutes of this, they still say the same thing, tell them to have one return your call. They will do that for you. Tell the supervisor your problem. They may ask you to do a few simple troubleshooting tasks, just do what they say. If the problem is still not fixed, tell him you want a technician (NOT an installer) to come and fix it. If you get any resistance to this, tell him if they don't get it fixed in 24 hours, you will go up and tear the smart antenna down, and you will not give it back until they give you a cash refund. You will give them 7 days to do that, after that you will sell the smartbro antenna for 8000p to somebody (hell... I'll buy it from you for that!). Make sure they make a service report, and make them give you the service report number and WRITE IT DOWN, cuz you may need it again when you follow up
