j3grizz Posted April 24, 2006 CID Share Posted April 24, 2006 It looks like a bad monitor to me. My monitor did the same thing before it finally went out. It did last a while after it started going bad though.

j3grizz Posted April 24, 2006 CID Share Posted April 24, 2006 He is asking if you overclocked your cpu. It sounds like you didn't, so I am betting the graphics card is going bad.

j3grizz Posted April 24, 2006 CID Share Posted April 24, 2006 If it is an older pc ya might check any local pc repair shops. That is where I get most of my parts for repairing old pc's. They are usually pretty cheap. If you are gaming though, this wouldn't be your best option.
php Posted April 24, 2006 CID Share Posted April 24, 2006 Yea, it's not the monitor. If it was the monitor the screenshot would be fine lol
disturbed Posted April 24, 2006 CID Share Posted April 24, 2006 my guess is that it is the monitor lolz
disturbed Posted April 24, 2006 CID Share Posted April 24, 2006 but yeah, seriously....i know this is a long shot and probably wont fix anything, but you can try reinstalling your video card display drivers
disturbed Posted April 24, 2006 CID Share Posted April 24, 2006 if nothing comes out of that - get a new vid. card - if you do not game, or you are tight on money, you can pick one up for as low as $30 dollars
Guest PeePs Posted April 24, 2006 CID Share Posted April 24, 2006 Yeah, lol it can't be the monitor, or the monitor plug because the screenshot would still be fine. The problem definately is the video card....

dlewis23 Posted April 24, 2006 CID Share Posted April 24, 2006 its bad drivers. ive seen that before. the drivers are conflicting with somethng else in there. and everyone who said its the monitor, it can't be, because when you take a screen shot, its taken way before the acutally image leaves the videocard for the monitor. ghostmaster Posted April 24, 2006 CID Share Posted April 24, 2006 Is it a NVIDIA card? If so, reinstall the driver from NVIDIA's website. One of those last Windows Updates has a conflict with NVIDIA's drivers. http://www.computerworld.com/securitytopics/security/holes/story/0,10801,110755,00.html?source=NLT_PM&nid=110755
