Its seems thats you are very knowlegable on bikes i have been looking at them lately and it has come down to a Suzuki and a buell i really like the beull due to that fact of it being made in the USA well i think it is do you have any input? i like the street ride instead of a cruiser. here is a link to the beull

http://www.buell.com/en_us/bikes_gear/firebolt/xb12r/index.asp

and it only $10,495

here is the one for the suzuki

http://www.suzukicycles.com/Products/GSXR750K6/Default.aspx

so it is in the price range of the japs models

any input would be nice from anyone

Personally I would get a Buell. Their fast handle good. The gas milage is not to bad either. Plus you can get go fast kits form S&S Cycles. I saw a show not long ago compairing it to some Rice Rockets of the same class and the riders preferred the Buell for it handling. It might have not been as fast on the straight aways but was better in the corners. But it all comes down to what you like. I myself still ride the same Knucklehead I've had for the last 30yrs. Good luck in your choice.

i do believe thats the way i will go i have read that the beull does handle very well in the corners and that most riders like the twin Eng i really don't see much diffrents in the lighting form the firebolt and most of the reviews i have read Say's the bike needs more power . specs Say's it has 95hp i guess i will do some more investigating

I kinda of like the Blast a little better, all the newer bikes are a lay down model. But that one appears that you can at least sit up a little more. The lay down style would start to hurt my back too much.

Just my thoughts. Maybe some pull backs?
