leoinnj Posted January 1, 2007 CID Share Posted January 1, 2007 I was checking and deleting old e-mail, and when I went to the bulk mail folder, there were all my recent e-mails from Testmy.net. Does anyone have an idea why it would suddenly change from the Inbox? I have not made any change in my security settings, nor have I written in any message rules. I am using Outlook Express 6. Ryan314 Posted January 1, 2007 CID Share Posted January 1, 2007 Your set to get emails when someone sends you pm's, and replys to your posts i think.

Ryan314 Posted January 2, 2007 CID Share Posted January 2, 2007 Maybe you changed your personal settings and didnt know it, or maybe they changed themselves for some reason O_o
tommie gorman Posted January 2, 2007 CID Share Posted January 2, 2007 They all were coming into the In box until recently. Have you scanned for spyware? Or ran Microsoft or windows updates lately? Just curious. Might try restore point, back as far as you remember the problem happening.
coknuck Posted January 2, 2007 CID Share Posted January 2, 2007 If you are using Outlook Express 6 your mail might be considered spam by your ISP. I use this program (MailWasher) before I send it to Outlook. It even gives you an option to bounce the spam back to where It came from. http://www.download.com/MailWasher/3000-2382-10192298.html

amc11890 Posted January 2, 2007 CID Share Posted January 2, 2007 you were prob getting so many in a short period of time, so the spam filter assumed it was spam

I am using Outlook Express 6. just click ur rules wizard (the little organized icon) and set those emails to go to ur inbox (or a new folder that u can name whatever u want...mine says TMN)...something obviously changed...so just make a rule for it to go where u want it to go...u can also add that email address to ur address book then tell it what folder to put that mail in...that's what i did
tommie gorman Posted January 2, 2007 CID Share Posted January 2, 2007 So wouldn't a restore point put it back right?
CA3LE Posted January 2, 2007 CID Share Posted January 2, 2007 I changed the email address that the forum emails come from. They used to come from noreply@ tmn now they come from forum@ tmn. You may have had the previous address added to a safe list or whitelist of some sort but now that I made that change you'll have to add the new address to that whitelist. That would be my best guess as to why this happened Let me know if I'm right -D
