jeydicee127 Posted August 18, 2007 CID Share Posted August 18, 2007 probably not all smartbro subscribers are having problems with their speeds, but i am one of their really pissed clients. my down load rate ranges frm 6.x kB/s to 15.xkB/s. nway, im from Rizal
fr0stbound Posted August 18, 2007 CID Share Posted August 18, 2007 to tell you the truth, almost all smartbro subscribers here have problems. look at the tweaking guides for smartbro to help your speed
coolbuster2007 Posted August 18, 2007 CID Share Posted August 18, 2007 as i was posting before disgruntled smartbro subscribers are as many as the stars, the happy ones are like a basket of apples. and i'm an apple.

coolbuster2007 Posted August 19, 2007 CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 yeah, i did. i use it until now. if its not giving you satisfactory speed might as well use the 500 / 1500 setting?
fr0stbound Posted August 19, 2007 CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 hmm, ok, i'll change it back. remember, i said once that when i opened my canopy it already has 500 and 1500 set.

ispayk Posted August 19, 2007 CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 Smartbro"LOK" is giving a headache again. From what used to be a great speed for me for a month and a half at 430+kbps, it dropped to 60+ to 90+ kbps for a week now. Called CS already though it's a waste of time, as usual the same sound of base station problem. F**k them! I'm from laguna.
carltonsteele Posted August 19, 2007 CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 has anyone tweeked with the 169.254.1.1/mac.html that may help you
fr0stbound Posted August 19, 2007 CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 sir steel, when i try to use that 169.254.1.1/mac.html,all i get is a blank page. it looks like it connected with the canopy though, since the logo of the canopy appeared in the address bar. carltonsteele Posted August 19, 2007 CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 did u try typing in your ip then /mac.html it should bring you to a calibration page and should also show your mac address
fr0stbound Posted August 19, 2007 CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 i tried it but it said that the connection was reset.
carltonsteele Posted August 19, 2007 CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 if you had access to the canopy and was able to put a default plug in u might be able to access it it think the page would be very helpful to you guys
fr0stbound Posted August 19, 2007 CID Share Posted August 19, 2007 what will that /mac.html bring up? because i can access my canopy page by just typing 169.254.1.1. adding/mac.html to it does nothing.
