snip07 Posted August 13, 2007 CID Share Posted August 13, 2007 yeah maybe I'm gonna call again and schedule a field visit and will ask if i could have the authority to access my canopy so that every time something wrongs with my connection, I can fix it up myself than calling smartbroken's hotline
thugster_9904 Posted August 14, 2007 CID Share Posted August 14, 2007 @ everyone Hey guys! It's been a long time!! I've been busy for the past few days!! BTW, i just want to add something, based on my experience, smart told me that the will not give a "priority repair" unless my connection speed is below 180 kbps.. So cool right? Good day!! -Procopio- Posted August 14, 2007 CID Share Posted August 14, 2007 i think they should fix it anytimeit went down from 300 Kbps. 180Kbps is lower than half of their advertised speed. Mmmmm.. I think their advertisement is " up to 384kbps " not " guaranteed 384kbps." So it means, it's burstable speed... just an opinion...
fr0stbound Posted August 14, 2007 CID Share Posted August 14, 2007 hmm, probably right. still, that would mean having a connection of 100Kbps is ok since it is "up to" 384Kbps. looks like a nice loophole in the contract right?
-Procopio- Posted August 14, 2007 CID Share Posted August 14, 2007 Well.. That's it.. Marketing strat.. That's how Smart smart is! lol Well, I'm happy with my MyDestiny Internet.. almost 2 years subs now.. fr0stbound Posted August 14, 2007 CID Share Posted August 14, 2007 how fast is it?
-Procopio- Posted August 14, 2007 CID Share Posted August 14, 2007 I'm having average minimum download speed of 30-40KBps, well depending on the server. I've just downloaded 600Gig Wmv file movie from megashare, I think. I started downloading it at around 11:30pm. My speed sometimes went tru 3-5Mbps during off-peak hours. -Procopio- Posted August 14, 2007 CID Share Posted August 14, 2007 Hahahaha! yap! I know! You might be disconnected before reaching 20mb.. lol.. But let's wait and see in the near future.. who knows? hahahaha.. Anyway, are you a smartbro user?
fr0stbound Posted August 14, 2007 CID Share Posted August 14, 2007 yeah. if you looked at my sig, that was a test result when there was a bug on the base station. i used that result to write my first ever post here on tmn, so im keeping it as souvenir. coolbuster2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Author CID Share Posted August 15, 2007 Anyone experienced pressing "1" for new applications instead of "4" for technical concerns at *1888? What happened?
fr0stbound Posted August 15, 2007 CID Share Posted August 15, 2007 i'll try it once my speed goes below 150Kbps again. and then i'll tell them that they are quick when it comes to new application but slow on tech support.
