I'm having some trouble with the page hanging when posting...

It seems to post, but the page sits there indefinitely.  I just hit stop, re-enter the thread, and the post is there.

Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't...  :idiot2:

Edit: it hung that time...Edit/Save seems to post ok most of the time.

it seems to have been a problem with the quick reply... for now (until I fix it) I've reset everyones options to NOT use the quick reply.  Options will be reset once I figure out what the heck is making the problem.  I do know this.... on this new server I've upgraded to the most recent builds of PHP and Apache, and the problem MAY be a scripting problem that SMF (the author of the code that testmy.net uses for it's forum) needs to fix... some bit of code that isn't compatable with the newest versions of apache or PHP.  I do know this much, the posting is instant when quick reply isn't used.  And also, when the posts seem to lag with quick reply the posts are actually made instantly... the problem is that the following page is taking forever to load.  I know this because while it's lagging you can reload the thread and the post that you've made (that was lagging) is actually posted.  If a reload of SMFs code doesn't fix the problem then we may have to wait for the next version of SMF to fix the problem.... and if a reload of SMFs code doesn't fix it I'll be posting to SMFs site letting them know about the problem and seeing if I can get some help over there to script a possible fix.  I'll keep you guys informed.

If you want to re-enable quick reply you can do so by changing the quick reply option in you look and layout preferences under the profile tab.
