mudmanc4 Posted September 15, 2008 CID Share Posted September 15, 2008 wonder how much damage??? Billions, again. People will never learn that living on the coast line is going to be this way. And the insurance companies will not deal with this forever. They will eventually be unable to pay for the luxury of the people living there. Insurance companies will be able to pay for it, they charge a lot more when you live in these kinds of places. But it doesn't matter because where ever you go bad weather events will happen. But it doesn't matter because where ever you go bad weather events will happen. But not as often as they do down there. And youcan be certain they do not charge enough. It is spread nationwide. I seriously doubt the fair share is always paid. And why they like people who live in "safe" area's, like the midwest. Once in a while we get hit. scdreamin3 Posted September 16, 2008 CID Share Posted September 16, 2008 Tommie, ya'll get hit with tornadoes though. Its like when I lived in Ohio. You see one trailer picked up and slammed down, while your trailer is not affected. Scary.
tommie gorman Posted September 17, 2008 CID Share Posted September 17, 2008 Tommie, ya'll get hit with tornadoes though. Its like when I lived in Ohio. You see one trailer picked up and slammed down, while your trailer is not affected. Scary. That we do, but seldom will it wipe it out like a hurricane does for miles and miles. A tornado has a path, and it dances back and forth on that. It can and has hit and miss houses along the path. Never any type of pattern. I had a friend who's neighbor on either side lost everything and he was back in order after hecleaned the yard up and did a few roof repairs. And another time it will take an entire trailer park or college top floor out. And you can literally drive a couple of miles and miss a tornado. Can't do that so much with a hurricane.
