netmasta Posted February 28, 2005 CID Share Posted February 28, 2005 So that's how M$ is trying to squash out Firefox. I never would of thought. Also they put Kazaa at a lower risk?? When did you run your scan? I did mine sometime last week and FF wasn't on the list. I just ran Antispy, FF wasn't dected as a threat. risky Posted February 28, 2005 CID Share Posted February 28, 2005 For some reason I AM shocked... I have never seen MS try to discriminate a software company for using its software on Windows systems... unless its a IE thing

timmers83 Posted March 1, 2005 CID Share Posted March 1, 2005 No question It's a fake! I'm surprised nobody mentioned the fact that Firefox is the only program on the list that doesn't have a description in parenthesis following it. That's the first thing that jumped out at me. Pretty funny, though- It really wouldn't have surprised me that much if Microsoft HAD stooped that low!
