MYRIAGON Posted August 6, 2005 CID Share Posted August 6, 2005 I've noticed that the bigger the processor the bigger the cached test it seems. This PC I'm on is a 500Mhz and only Caches at about 30Mbps but my 2,4Ghz. caches at about 60Mbps. So his CPU must be about a 233Mhz. Oh well.. resopalrabotnick Posted August 6, 2005 CID Share Posted August 6, 2005 true, my 1.4 ghz laptop caches at 75 max, according to that he's running at just under 300mhz.

Blunted Posted August 9, 2005 CID Share Posted August 9, 2005 that test is wrong and i posted it a while back but if you mess with the settings the speeds will be accurate here still and there is goes all over. i had that test say i had 10 mb upload and i have 768 but i havent seen anyone else see this happen yet or test it but i know it works for me
audidiablo Posted August 9, 2005 CID Share Posted August 9, 2005 i've been playing with all of the different duplex's it seems to make no difference but as soon as i remove the router from the mix the duplex error disapears. so something onboard the router has a setting although i've looked all over for it I can't seem to find it. any ideas about the router..? VanBuren Posted August 9, 2005 CID Share Posted August 9, 2005 Not bad 2005-08-09 02:38:02 EST: 5510 / 362 Your download speed : 5643005 bps, or 5510 Kbps. A 688.8 kB/sec transfer rate. Your upload speed : 371057 bps, or 362 Kbps yea its a great test, atleast for downstream hehe 2005-08-09 05:08:39 EST: 29398 / 1410 Your download speed : 30103643 bps, or 29398 kbps. A 3674.7 KB/sec transfer rate. Your upload speed : 1443869 bps, or 1410 kbps. also i agree with you Blunted, those NDT tests can be inaccurate for upload. I think it has to do with the large buffers they using. For fat fiber optics they are very accurate, the most accurate on the planet if you ask me. look at my network graph and compare it to the score VanBuren
