Just caught his story a little bit ago, may be your problem, netmasta: http://www.broadbandreports.com/shownews/68174 edit: just looked below your avatar: Comcast; but this could still be an issue. dlewis23 Posted October 6, 2005 CID Share Posted October 6, 2005 netmasta you could also sign up for http://imagehouze.com you get 66mb of storage and 666mb of bandwidth.
netmasta Posted October 6, 2005 Author CID Share Posted October 6, 2005 Thanks guys for the sites. It was only a onetime problem, so I'm not too worried. I'll keep those in mind though. BTW they offer 25MB of space (meh..), but thay automatically resize pics larger than 250KB. Thay don't seem to do a bad job either. The transfer is 1,500Mb/mo. FallowEarth Posted October 7, 2005 CID Share Posted October 7, 2005 It's due to the Cogent/Level3 dispute. http://www.dslreports.com/shownews/68174
netmasta Posted October 7, 2005 Author CID Share Posted October 7, 2005 Problem fixed, at least for me. I switched back to the Comcast DNS servers. It turns out the two I was using (4.2.2.3, 4.2.2.4) are run by Level3.
