Option 3 : 98

**Given :**

The length, breadth and height of a room are increased by 10%, 20% and 50% respectively.

**Formula used :**

Volume of cuboid = length × breadth × height

**Calculations :**

Let the length, breadth and height be l, b and h respectively

Now new dimensions after increment

New length = l + 10% of l = 1.1l

New breadth = b + 20% of b = 1.2b

New height = h + 50% of h = 1.5 h

Original volume = l × b × h

⇒ lbh

New volume = (1.1)l × (1.2)b × (1.5)h

⇒ 1.98lbh

Percent increase in volume = (1.98lbh - lbh)/(lbh) × 100

⇒ 98

**∴ Option 3 is the correct answer.**
