by defining the minimum gpu as a dx 9 ready one they have pretty much laid down the law that it has to have some basic juice. i'm guessing that with a card that is just 9.0 capable it won't be anywhere near fluid. to really get all the eye candy something fairly fast will probably be needed. -
i consider open source communist to criminal since the "community" decides for itself that they will copy and/or reverse engineer any technology and implement it in their products with no regards to any rights by the original creators of the technology.

roco, once a first step is taken in the right direction it snowballs from there. once ancient man figured out how to dig with a stick it wasn't far to the shovel. etc. the more tech they figured out the faster it developed. look how long ot took to go from the earliest apps of gunpowder in a handgun to the large rapid fire weapons used today. basically the same tech with better materials.

actually tommie you will see in the pics that the jets are not flying at high angles of attack (compared to the props nor do they have flaps out. those top of the line props can maintain speeds that are comfortable for a jet to maintain.

must be because your friend is engaging in capitalism while you are downloading communist opensource stuff.

i've run xp home on a 1GHz PIII with 256 megs of ram. once i convinced the owner to replace the 4 meg graphics card with something just a little bit more current (just to let the os unload some things to the card) it ran real nice. no gaming or anything like that but enough for a decent office rig. -
considering you are testing from jamaica, yeah, the download looks good. what upload is he supposed to have? 256?

something about the church having misadjusted the roman calendar or so.

if you're serious, it's because humans evolved from primates (some may argue humans are the ultimate primate) into their own biological niche. humans then gained the power to alter a niche to suit them, giving us modern civilization. the other apes are still around because they still have areas that suit their needs. they no doubt have changed since the time of ancient man to suit their changing needs.

the way you're abusing the poor thing i think you'll be replacing it sooner rather than later...

so when are the stars and title bars going to be animated? what about the possibility of putting a quick sound clip on rollover into the avatar?

those letters from the isp are due to a complaint from the riaa or mpaa or from an actual label or software mfr. if they put a dummy file on the p2p net they track who downloads and uploads it and then file a complaint with the isp who is forced by law to pass the complaint on.

in france dwarf tossing was quite popular. then the government decided it was demeaning to the dwarfs and introduced legislation to ban it. all the tossees protested as this was a good source of income for them. i don't know what came of the protest though.

well, the f-14 would be more impressive. bigger. bigger shock wave. yes, it was designed as a long range air superiority fighter/interceptor. but the latest upgrades have caused it to be called the "bombcat" inofficially. it can carry practically all ground and air attack weapons in the arsenal, has a huge payload, incredible range, of course air to air refueling capability and packs that into a mach 2+ package that can deploy from a carrier.

gadzooks! i forgot to add the attached clips. again.

wanted to post these last night but my connection flaked out. again. attached: an f-18 breaking the sound barrier. also attached: an f-14 holding just at the sound barrier. here an f-14 doing a flyby. note the shockwave on the water! http://media1.guzer.com/videos/f14_flyby.wmv

monitor what? the amount uploaded? analyze all traffic and connections for every user? it's easier to just look for p2p traffic and crap on them if it looks like a lot and to keep a general eye on the amount uploaded. i for one would like more upload for the times i do upload stuff because then i wouldn't have to wait so long for it to finish. but for regular use my 3/256 is fine.

http://www.compfused.com/directlink/1406/ these pics show some jets going supersonic. also a C-17 leaving wingtip vortices in the tops of clouds. interesting are the 2 B-2 Spirit pics. the first one shows it doing a high alpha maneuver that causes condensation to form on top of the wings due to low pressure. the second one however shows a vapor cloud that looks like it is actually going supersonic. it is not known to me if it has the capability to cruise above the speed of sound (although cruising supersonic would create a large acoustic signature due to the shockwave, somewhat reducing the advantage of stealth). if however research that can attenuate the supersonic shockwave at ground level by giving the aircraft a certain shape has gone into the beast it would mean it's stealthy and able to supercruise. an awesome capability indeed. (or it could just be breaking the speed of sound in a dive. afaik even most airliners can do so.) awesome nonetheless.

so you're overambitous dickheads?
