They have 3 plans in most areas...and Im assuming this holds true to where you live Lite plan 256/128 Basic RR 5000/384 for 45 bucks Premium 8000/512 for 80ish give or take a few dollars And in some areas have upgraded their basic to 7000/512 with no price change
-
Yup thats their Lite package which is cheaper and offers speeds of 768/128...for dling and online games...its not enough lol
-
Roadrunner doesnt offer DSL..only cable..Im guessing that its their intro or "Lite" package that your on right now...which ofcourse you can upgrade to their normal package

Well from the sites we have given you, your best bet will be sendspace...it allows up to 300 MB of a file...but since you said its for a game, none really work, unless you know how to split a file into multiple files and make it smaller.
-
What exactly do you seek..a place where you can host 5 MB worth of anything..or a ftp server for yourself? If its a place where you want to upload a file that you can retrieve later on then you can try: www.yousendit.com www.sendspace.com www.rapidshare.de All of these site give you the ability to upload any file to their servers..then hand you out a link which you can use to download the file P.S. Great sig lol

Okay, VNC works but im having visual connection problems.
DJVageli replied to CaptainSauce's topic in HELP!
If you have vnc installed on the computer, instead of selecting vnc server...select vnc viewer, type the WAN or public IP of the computer you want to connect to and the password if enabled..then connect...trust me,it works much better than the java based web viewer. Now im heading home from school....tell me how it goes -

If you can wait a little bit longer, than check this out: http://www.getfision.com/index.htm#aboutFISION From what I hear, theyll be offering 100 Mbps symmetrical for a little under $200..hope that helps
-
Never really played it
-
I really hope we get a much higher upload than that
-
Yea the new default blue one is great,I have always stuck with the blue ones, but this is clean yet stylish
-
Same time, since its part of the same network...or atleast thats how it works for me,I had gotten the last upgrade same time as RR users
-
From what it looks like, and with all the competition they have, the premium will probably be much faster, comparable to most other companies like 15 Mbps...as for the upload,we will just have to find out
-
Just spoke to earthlink..they said these slow speeds are caused by Time Warner working on their servers and network for the upcoming upgrade,he couldnt confirm the date..but for some strange reason he said increase up to 8 Mbps and $5-$10 more

Do you have a floppy drive and a bootable win98 startup disk...if you do, you can put that in,reboot, use fdisk to delete everything on your drive, then boot up with your XP cd and install Windows
