Couldnt have said it better myself FallowEarth BTW..if all those dont work,you can try booting up with a startup disk,try to get to a command prompt,and try to edit your boot.ini file to the correct settings.If not..then you would have to reformat,and re-install

Yea,but it doesnt make sense how from laptop to PC the transfer rates are on par for a LAN connection while from PC to laptop its like im uploading to a friend somewhere else

I have the weirdest problem,when I send something through AIM from my PC to my laptop it sends at speeds of 38 kB/s and this is through LAN lol,when i send a file from laptop to pc,it sends it at a speed of 5000 kB/s,the way it should be,and I dont know whats wrong lol

It wont mess it up..if you dont like what you see...just open adjuster again...delete tweaks,so everythings blank,then save again,and everythings back to default

After 9x did u pick like 5000/384 settings? from the list of other speeds.If u did,then u click save,then restart computer,then retest
