  1. This person must really be bored. Imagine reaching for an apple on a tree and having your hand suddenly impaled by a metal hook that drags you
  2. I would think I would want them to want to send out one. You have to threaten Dway-hughes to get one almost. A quick dumb one dlewis, you have done maintenance lately as of cleaning? I know, normal doctor exam questions. Now bend over and... But really with that new one, have you?
  3. Nah, you know dlewis and his photoshop and stuff. It might take a little time. You know. The first is the biggest proudest moment in you life. You really can't believe it is finally over (the nine months ) , and then that you and her actually made this fragile little thing that depends on you two for everything. It is a beautiful thing. So he probably just wants it perfect. Just my thoughts
  4. It is probably the fastest home brew street legal, bar none.
  5. Maybe the owner knew someone there. I know a 1.4 million dollar car would not see any normal body shop, the guy would be a specialist. So that might be it. So what else comes through that shop? Must be a nice shop. I wonder how long it would take to order a fender for one. Uhh... we will get back to you on that one.
  6. People really are not into old fashioned remedys, unless they see them on a infomercial. Old timers did say to put them around the house though. I never tried that.
  7. Kaizoku are you running any service like Instant messenger? Turn it off and try again. Are you running Norton for your Anti Virus? Again, try turning it off. What are you using for your firewall?? One more, are you using a router. If so try hooking up directly to the modem without the router and try that again.
  8. Hedge Trees grow in Missouri, the wood is yellowish. And is harder than oak. But it does not grow very straight. It used to be used a lot for fence posts on farms. It also has these seeds which you cannot mistake. about the size of a grapefruit. Called hedge apples. Though don't eat them, I understand they are poisonous to bugs.
  9. Then you are very lucky. According to what I read and watched, they are only building 9. And only 2 have made the US as of yet. One was put under galss immediately. And the other has been test driven. So very lucky. Should have taken some pics. They might actually be worth something some day.
  10. Guess I will be findoung out soon. We finally gotour winter started here in the midwest. Should be down to 4 degrees by Monday. So put some hedge in it if you have any. That puts out some tremendous heat for a stick of wood. But never load it up with hedge. Unless you have one badass stove.
  11. Why did Volkswagen create the $1 million Bugatti Veyron? ? Because it could. This time I would say damned [glow=red,2,300]F A S T[/glow]. In this case it started happening in 1998... "It wasn't really a project, in the strictest sense,...Everyone was just fiddling around." By 2003, however, the fiddling had stopped and a team of 100 engineers had turned serious. Bugatti managed to meet the chairman's goal by melding two V-8s, four camshafts, 64 valves, and four turbochargers into a titanium-laced W-16 engine,... Did I happen to mention that it does zero to 60 in 2.4 seconds? That you can give a McLaren F1 (the previous fastest road car) a head start to 120 mph and still beat it to 200? That hitting the gas is akin to being punched in the chest by Evander Holyfield? The stereo system alone costs $30K. At top speed the car will drain its gas tank in 12 minutes. The engine has 3,700 parts, and its tachometer goes to 11,001. Bugatti engineers shredded 57 transmissions before perfecting a dual-clutch all-wheel-drive system capable of transferring the Veyron's enormous horsepower to the road. Michelin was forced to invent a massive road tire able to survive potholes at 252 mph. Wind resistance at such speeds is so severe it takes 500 horses to overcome it; the Veyron uses the remaining 501 horses simply to keep moving down the freeway. Since vehicles topping 200 mph tend to go airborne, the Veyron shifts shape, deploying a blunt spoiler and mammoth air wing that adjust their angles based on speed. Jam the brakes at 125 mph or more and the wing morphs into an air brake, like landing flaps on a fighter jet. To the left of the driver's seat is a second key slot, which when turned engages the car's "top speed mode" -- defined by Bugatti as anything above 235 mph. In the five seconds or so that it takes to reach triple digits, the sucker-punched sensation fades and is replaced by something akin to having your lungs tugged out of your body through your back. Surroundings begin to blur, with trees, bridges, road signs, and other motorists dissolving into a single watercolor stripe. As it happens, only two Veyrons had made it Stateside, one of which was under glass in the showroom. And I was behind the wheel of the other, which meant that at that moment I was the fastest person on the road in all of America, utterly untouchable by civilians and authorities alike. http://www.cnn.com/2006/AUTOS/09/15/bugatti_veyron.biz2/index.html http://grouper.com/video/MediaDetails.aspx?id=1691503 I wish I had this guys job! http://video.yahoo.com/video/play?ei=UTF-8&p=Bugatti+Veyron&b=0&oid=8f10903e58f04e6c&rurl=video.yahoo.com&vdone=http%3A%2F%2Fvideo.yahoo.com%2Fvideo%2Fsearch%3Fei%3DUTF-8%26p%3DBugatti%2BVeyron Here it is stealing a girl from Tom Cruise?? http://video.yahoo.com/video/play?ei=UTF-8&p=Bugatti+Veyron&b=1&oid=769fbf8d053db5ce&rurl=www.ifilm.com&vdone=http%3A%2F%2Fvideo.yahoo.com%2Fvideo%2Fsearch%3Fei%3DUTF-8%26p%3DBugatti%2BVeyron Having a little fun with some big boys. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/170156FA-22BA-4942-9378-983300637106.htm Finally the link to other films where I got those. http://video.yahoo.com/video/search?p=Bugatti+Veyron&x=42&y=20 Some of those video's were too long for satelite. It timed out a few times. One more item I picked up from one of the video's. 252 - 0 mph in 10 seconds. You would be with me if you just said WTF??
  12. He was born on 2-2-82, real easy to remember. I will see him soon enough. Yeah my only boy.
  13. I know what you mean. If you clean too well, it does that. So just use Disk Cleanup which is built into your computer. At the lower left go to start*all programs*accessories*System tools*disk cleanup and disk defragment. Disk cleanup does not seem to remove those simple cookies. Hope that was what you were looking for and it helped. Only use the heavier duty cleaners when needed. And welcome to the forum Kaizoku
  14. Try doing and reading all of this. http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-4257 It should help out.
  15. Welcome to the forum Kaizoku Read and do all of this. http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-4257
  16. Bargain priced for sure. Nice ride. Actually not bad. A lot of hot cars like that in the old days with the blowers got around 3 mpg. And for that type of car the tank is also small. Absolutely no good on the highway. ( where you going to go )
  17. Well let me be the 6th one to welcome you into the TMN forum then. Glad to have you aboard. Have a cup of java and join in on the fun.

  19. Good stuff there cordell383. I kinda liked some of those. I could do with a little music from Rawhide for some of them though.
  20. Those were pretty good cars in their day. I liked the 68's best.
  21. Damn can that guy fly. I wonder how long he has been doing that stall. Nice. But I would rather be on the ground while he is doing it. I get motion sickness. Terrible on cruise ships. Nice find EWO.
  22. He must be making a big presentation or something. Ought to be nice.
  23. She is, my wife.
