If this information is correct, I may be in luck. (oh boy) One way to get more ethanol feedstock out of existing levels of corn production is to use the stalk, leaves, and cobs left over after harvest

Personally with the world down on the US I am at the point that I just don't care what they think any more. So if they hate us, so be it. How much more can they hate us if we just leave them alone. Totally. Even food, aid, Sudam, oil sold to USSR, wheat to USSR, weapons, soldiers, Foreign Aid, jap cars and bikes (purchasing power), electronics, etc... Only the Allies who want to play ball should be on the court. Otherwise go find your own court. Nothing personal Roco or others. Just tired of the same thing cholla was talking about. Canada and Mexico should have to pay for our protection, and let the world know it. Canada because as I have read (no one in this forum) believe we are bullies and should stop what is going on. When they have virtually no army to speak of. The same if not worse for Mexico, since they treat us so badly. (No mentions necesary.) I have a feeling we would gain allies willing to bargain immediatly as soon as they realized they were cut off. Damned off the topic track again! (is Reso hiding someone near) Hey cholla, you forgot chainsaws, lawn mowers, snow blowers, outboard motors, high-performance, mopeds, scooters, snowmobiles, karts, model airplanes (and other model vehicles) and motorized garden appliances like tillers. But I still believe if they stuck to spending the extra $$ they spend on figuring out the fuel source for cars and go E85 they could make it work much more efficiently, cheaper, and better for the ecology and economy. And just use the present flex cars until they get it figured out. it was said that the Hybrid uses fuel also, OK. But as much? And no expensive technology is necesary right now to get it started. Just incentives to improve the fuel efficiency of them. Heck if they put the pressure on the automakers, they will find a way! I am even considering buying my wifes next car as a flex fuel car. Last time I checked, it was not very much more than a regular fuel car. Mainly all they probably do is change the fuel supply lines and such to handle different fuels. I can produce my own fuel (some of it) right here in the country. Farmers all around, any direction.

I guess I always just click and drag mine back where I want them.

Actually on my tests, I have never had one start at 0. But the test has started already I think, because it is moving when I get there. Maybe it is the burst of satelite. Or maybe I just do not get to see the starting gate. Others post on something I have just posted on,sometimes before I even get to the screen. So probably the same thing.

Cute little chopper by the way. I did not see any download box, but it did download OK. But I really was expecting a motorcycle or a helicopter.

Actually in Missouri we do have a pay back system (or reverse bill) for our electric. Don't you? Besides that if you don't, doesn't not paying (by creating your own) also reverse the bill sort of? And I would venture to say it will be more than a couple of years before it changes. The gov't will not be the ones to change it, it will be you and me. We have to look for the alternative sources and purchase them and use them. It would not be that hard to put a generator on an excersize bicycle. The rich folks follows the people's purchases. So purchase and use.

Could you post the actual link? I can't seem to get it to come up.

I could live with that for now. And with some extensive research, I am sure they could change the ratio considerably. But I guess the oil barons would not be too happy with that. Oh well. At least we would be self dependant. And create several new jobs right over HERE!
-
So as I stated, we just limit the exports. And if there is no extra. Oh well. And just out of curiousity, why do fuel dragsters do so well? If they are not as efficient. Maybe just some more research needs to go into using it as a replacement. Instead of war and cat converters. In my opinion E85 would be great with enough research. And turbos can replace the needed extra umph.

As stated several times before in this forum, if in doubt, test twice and post the second one. Usually works.

Well I guess the proper response for me would be "Howdy y'all"!

Damn I hate that part! DSL doesn't burst does it? I doubt they have a boost. I hope you have turned off your accelerators and cleaned out your temp files. Or maybe you are on the 3.0 instead of the 1.5?

Welcome to the forum salem505 Boy you guys with comcast really get me, those damned speeds are Great. -
I almost forgot we could probably also say the middle east. But wouldn't that make it too simple. So we would switch from being blamed for starting war, to stopping the feeding of the world. Let the USSR grow their own damned corn. They have climates to grow it anyway. For once lets say what about us and US?
-
I am not sure why your food costs would go up, just to produce ethanol. And as you said, we are blamed for everyones plight anyway. What the heck They are getting top dollar for fossil crap fuels. And ethanol is a lot more nature friendly. By the way, if we stop shipping our own oil and create E85 we should be fine for much longer. E85 is 15% gasoline and 85% ethanol, it would extend our own oil considerably. All it requires is the flexible fuel cars. (which we already have) Corn is not the only source of material for ethanol. "Substantial reductions in ethanol production costs may be made possible by replacing corn with less expensive cellulose-based feedstocks. Cellulosic feedstocks include agricultural wastes, grasses and woods, and other low-value biomass such as municipal waste.( I think that means sewage and yard clippings.) Probably a large % of our total waste we send to the land fill. We have vast materials available all over the US that simply are not used. As to the cooking fuel we also have coal which does not need to be shipped out of the US. Stop needed exports. You actually have suprised me a little cholla. I thought you were more for taking care of ourselves, and help the others with any excess only. Stand on our own, like before WWll. We also already have the necesary technology, flexible fuel cars. And would no longer need catalitic converters, or the other smog crap that lowers the power of the vehicles. And as always the are many more resources for electricity. And geo-thermal heating and cooling units in homes would greatly reduce the use for any fuels, except the electricity to run the pumps and fans. We have the resources to eliminate a lot of our needs. But the gov't for some reason will not put it all to use. On the exports of food. Here is one of my motto's. Take care of yourself first or how can you help someone else. Kind of like my helper. Things are a little tight at tthe moment financially. So I told my helper things were going to be tightened up. He asked how he was supposed to survive. I said look here. If I do not take care of myself first, how do you expect me to provide you with a JOB? If I do not exist, how will your Job exist? How can we expect help from other countries, if we do not help ourselves first? How can we help other countries, if we do not help ourselves first? I guess those are my thoughts for the day.

No, no apologies needed. It is probably that I am more of a maintenance man. And fairly good at Dway. I guess I just don't consider myself a computer technician. Let us know what you come up with the tech at Dway. And you might try Optimizer later after you resolve the other issues. Good luck BillyH80.

hewee do you clean out your temporary files before testing? Tools at the top of the browser*Internet Options*Delete Files including offline Content*OK*OK*test. And do you hit the back button to retest? Just go to the top of the page after testing and hit (test again) . Second question, I don't think you can remove the tests scores.

Hey, you sure you are not on a satelite connection? That is what we get. Just kidding. Welcome to the forum ztesar I tried to look it up, but they have so many avaliable packages. According to where you live.

I believe the batteries were at fault.

This might not be the right time, because if there is another problem it might not help ass of yet. But you could also use this TCP Optimizer tool. http://www.testmy.net/forum/index.php?topic=1703.0 The first post in the thread. Also use the attachment at the top of the pic. And follow the directions carefully. It is preset numbers, so no figuring necesary. It has helped some in here. You should see quick response if it works, but it takes 3 days to fully set in. If it does not help, you may have other problems. What is your signal strength? Link http://192.168.0.1/ click on system status radio button, it will be there. Mine is 55 right now. My ground is right on my water line which is grounded also to the breaker box which is also grounded outside the breaker box in the ground. It runs from the water line to a splitter box which my cables are connected to.(I hope I explained it correctly.) I hope this helped. Also the reason I had you clean it first was that optimizing a dirty computer is not always a good idea. You are probably more knowledge than myself, but you never know, I might think of something you might have missed.
