I have seen the Satellite link error while not being under FAP...when this happens its only last a second or two usually, would assume thats an issue at the NOC. The FAP or Download Threshhold depends on which account you have, if you are on the home plan, it may be worth the few extra bucks to upgrade to a pro account. Heres the chart for FAP and Hughes fair access policy

Refuse to wait in line for these so called sales. Not worth waiting to me for an item in limited supply

192.168.0.1/fs/advanced/advanced.html should work *for new users who may not know, many options on this page to put your modem out of commision, and you on the phone with support for hours.....
-
Myself dont see where it would improve a 4/5 rate code and a near 200 upload
-
Looks like you have a 4/5 rate code....your stats show your recent upload at 170, unless your on a office plan 200 is the cap.
-
check your uploads in the wee hours....also your rate code, may need to force range.

Nice!.... Fios Sat

Good speed, might go a little higher during off peak hours. You might want to add a sig line, so its easy for others to see what system you have, what bird your using etc... profile>modify profile/modify profile info try your upload with the 579 file

Have the same idiot move it? Never.....myself would wait for a nice calm blue sky. If you want it done right, learn to do it yourself ?

Hughes seems to not practice the word "free"....although at times customer service may act as if you have a free account.Current pricing My signal does not drop out until around 30? so regardless of my normal 80 or a 45 speed is still the same for me? might also be possible your site is located on a fringe area of coverage.

yes...use isopropyl alcohol/water, pure grain is not recommended
-
I use a 50/50 mixture of water/alcohol on a soft cloth.
-
Last evening I noticed my speeds were also slowing into the 600/85 range.....as a rule up until the past few weeks my speeds where not slowing during peak hours? I'm sure this is a NOC related issue.
-
The problem is not what the sat systems are capable of......which is by far more than even the business accounts get, but rather how much Hughes can water it down for the highest profit.
-
Yes I agree.....Linksys WRT54g works right out of the box or easily set up as switch with wireless also. Check for firmware updates and then forget you own it
