  1. i found one of my old routers and it sucks bad cause my speed goes from 26,000 kb without router to like 14,000 with it. its a POS netgear and really kills the speed so anyone who had issues with slow speed after getting a fast connection please post what routers you use now that gives you fast speed.
  2. oh i did for them to call me 2 times in 1 week
  3. i asked him and he said they keep track of it so if it messes up its there fault. i asked them man trust me i dont want to pay anything but i cant imagine how much i costed them. any idea's?
  4. they said i cant be charged on the phone and i asked them if it goes over the limit would i be charged and again it was no. this is included in my package and its free in there so they cant charge me
  5. yup and the good part is i cant be charged for it so if it uses too much its there fault.
  6. ahh i found out why they called and it was cause everyone was downloading the files i put there and used over 130 gig's of bandwidth in 2 weeks and the shell account was only 25 mb and 10 GB monthly transfer but mine was broken and i had a 512 mb, 64 mb, 16 mb, 8 mb, 4 mb, 1 mb files in there and all were being downloaded too much and i killed the processor on the server i'm gonna put the same files that testmy.net has the 2992 kb, 5983 kb and 12160 kb which should be perfect for it and then i'll see what they say about it before i can think about making this a mirror. heh if it goes well i'll just donate the thing to testmy.net for the hell of it even if i only get 10 gigs from it its better than nothing.
  7. i have that program and its good to use for a number of things.

  12. hey what wireless equipment do you have? try to reserve ips and mac address of your computers and save them in the router so he cant get on because the ip's are reserved for your comps only. he has to be on one of your lan ip's so you can see which one by looking at your router for attached devices. goto ww.vyrax.com to find out some stuff about wireless and post a question if you need to cause he will be glad to help.
  13. ^^^i agree with you there and i just happen to work with all my friends that i have known for 15 years so i like it but the customers is the problem sometimes but you have to get that when you deal with alot of them.

  21. thats all you get with over 1000 feet less than me? you should be higher and hit atleast 1400 down out of 1500 and if you saw your distance on dsl reports its wrong and hasnt been updated in a while so the only accurate way is to call your isp and they can tell you. i'm 5,687 feet according them
  22. hmm i guess i am safe cause nothing can open unless i say. i have it this way just so i cant get a virus and windows explorer and generic host process for win 32 cant even open until i say.
