  2. ya i live in the woods of ct so i dsl and fios are out the question, maybe if optimum online would come to me i could get better speeds. i have the fastest speed offered in my area 6000/512, but i would like alot faster speeds.
  3. damn 60Mbps that would be awesome, i wonder how long it will be before we can get speeds like 10/10 in our homes without breaking the bank.

  8. so most likely its not something wrong on my end? its something that should be corrected on my isp's side? ill give them a call tomorrow, unfortunately i do not have 24/7 tech support
  9. i ran it twice because the first time my firewall was on and i thought that the firewall might be causing this problem. so i disabled my firewall and got the test that i posted above.

Trace complete. lately ive been getting bad download speeds but my upload is fine. i ran this and got this error. not sure what the error means and would this contribute to a bad download, getting about 2-3Mbps out of advertised 6Mbps

  13. i think my schools upload is around 7-8Mbps. thats what i get on speakeasy.net and when i do testmy.net i get about 3 or 4Mbps but i think that is because symantec antivirus is running

  17. i wish comcast was in my area so that i would be able to get those speeds eventually
  18. im not sure what type of connection my school has but when i test i get about 10Mb download and 10Mb upload
  19. as much as i loved super nintendo my favorite pastime would probably be riding dirt bikes, playing baseball and basketball

  21. some people name their kids with crazy names, there was a show on vh1 just showing celebrities who gave their kids weird names
  22. i am looking for a program that would allow me to set a certain amount of bandwith to other computers in my house. im not exactly sure what to search for so any help would be nice
