Here is another 3 day poll that will decide the future of the site. As some of you know, this section has been added as a trial... to see if it has a place in the site. I have seen many topics in this section that I beleive would be better in the Off Topic or General Discussion sections of the site. My question to you guys now is... should we continue with this members only section or should we merge the current topics with the old boards and scrap this section. I personally think we should scrap the section, I feel that the original point of this section has been lost and I'm afraid that the other sections of the site are going to be at a loss because of this section. Please leave your input and at the end of three days the winning vote will take the cake.

As with the rest of the site nudity is NOT allowed in this section. Because of the conflict of the original rules of this section and what the rules have been revised to because of our public poll warnings for this type of content will be handed out for the next week... you only get one warning after that your post will be handled in the manor as if it was posted anywhere else in the forum. If I had a budget of 12K and I wanted a car that would whoop the crap out of just about everything I would shop around for an RX-7 turbo that has a little bit of work done to it -- with just a few minor mods they break into the high 12's low 13's very easy -- and they look SWEEET -- http://www.fast-autos.net/vehicles/Mazda/1995/RX-7/ -- Only problem with that car is that it has a really cramped leg room. When I have driven them I've felt crowded and I'm only 5' 11" 165lbs (that was wearing a pair of DM Boots though). You can tell that the leg room was designed for little Asians, the pedals are nearly on top of each other and they are really thin... although it's a little cramped it is however really good for some good 'ol heal-toe action for the turns. That is a seriously sweet ride. Also on my list would be (by the way, the prices listed are the prices when the cars were new of course... you can find them in the 12K range now... just not really pimped out ones) http://www.fast-autos.net/vehicles/Mitsubishi/1999/3000GT_VR-4/ http://www.fast-autos.net/vehicles/Mitsubishi/1997/Eclipse_GS-X/ (minor tuning will easily turn this into a 13 sec car.. My point is.. if you haven't noticed by the trend of the cars that I have shown you... Turbo cars tear up muscle cars... for less money -- but if you want something that has style AND is a smaller turbo car that even the muscle car crowd will give you praise for.. get an '88 Porsche 944 Turbo -- they look great, handle 1000's better than ANY mustang, camaro or firebird and they will blow the doors off even a brand new GT mustang -- and that shit came out in 1988 --- AND not only all of that, you will look like your the rich kid in any late 80's teen movie - -haha Muscle cars sound cool and feel cool, and muscle car guys always say "There is no replacement for displacement" (meaning that a bigger engine will always win)... but I'm sorry, there is a replacement for displacement...... it's called TECHNOLOGY --- LATER! -D p.s. another long post on this subject... I always get so worked up about cars.. I love them so much!

plus auto is good on a muscle car because (especially if your going to run it at the track) you get more consistant times... fuck, even most pros use autos now -- or just a 2-speed .. a fucked up shift is a lost race

You were getting the error because you are on either a shared or public IP. There was a large amount of users that were on the IP range your on (9 users all connecting within two IP's), all of which don't appear related to each other in any way.. So I'm going to assume this is a public computer or a proxy of some sort. There was a member by the nick 'mwripke' who was banned for abuse of the site on or about the 15th of May and this is why you were effected. I have left the ban on one IP he used not related to your range and the ban on his username is still in effect... but I have removed the ban that was effecting you and the other users. If you must chose Chevy or Ford --- PICK CHEVY! I've owned a mustang... and I've owned an F-Body (Camaro.. same shit)... The Mustang was an '89 5.0 GT - Fast, fun, sounded AWESOME with H-pipe, awesome doughnuts and burnouts. But ALL... even newer Mustangs (except the newest body style... not old enough to know yet) have valve train problems at around 60,000 miles. My '89 needed a top end rebuild at 80K and I currently know two people that have newer mustangs with around 60K that need valve train work. One of them is a V-6 and one is a V-8 so it's not like the problem is bias to one motor or the other. The F-Body I owned was an '89 Camaro IROC-Z 5.7 TPI -- if you don't already know, camaros, firebirds and trans-ams are the same car with just a little style differnence. When compared to the mustang I owned (and I friggen LOOOOVED my Mustang.. dispite the problems I had in the end) it was NO CONTEST. Mainly because the camaro has a 350 (5.7) vs the mustangs 302 (5.0). But I'm sure that even if I had the 305 (5.0) that most camaros in that generation had it would still whoop up on the stang... it was simply better built. Think of it this way, how many Mustangs do you see on the road? ALLOT! How many Camaros, not nearly as many. Mustangs have always sold better and it's not because they are a better car... it's because they're built inferior and therfore cost less. The Camaro I had put many Corvettes to shame and I can't say that about the Mustang I had. Although I did have to rebuild the entire engine on my Camaro it was my own fault... I spun two main bearings, the funny thing is that if you would have pit my old 5.0 Mustang when it was brand new vs. my Camaro when it had two main bearings spun.... the Camaro still would have won. --- also, put it this way, I had a friend who worked at a Ford dealership do the rebuild.. at the Ford dealership, every machanic that worked there was a chevy fan after seeing the power the engine had with the bearings spun.... they said "Unheard of in the Ford world... if that was a Ford it would be in a junk yard." So if you want a car that will fall apart and leave you on the side of the road... pick the ford. If you want something built correctly, do what the smart people did at the time those cars came out, spend the extra money and get a Chevy. And this is coming from someone that owned about 10 Fords before getting the IROC ... I can't beleive I used to like Ford. Oh, but if you really want a good car... fuck both of those cars. And get the last car I owned. Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII -- it puts brand new Corvettes to shame --- it puts them all to shame. But it also gets you in allot of trouble........ that's why I got rid of mine

It just tracks the time you stay online... if you idle too long time isn't added. Like, if I were to leave my browser open and walked away, the site would show I was still online, but since there was no request following my last action the time would not be added ... because I was considered idle. It's hard to explain, but it boils down to... the more you surf the site, the more your time will go up
