...could be the motherboard like posted above (sorry if you already posted a result...its late and im getting ready for bed...) but to answer your question...i've had a few computers in my tech class that i teachers aide for where the switch went out....i had to put a new one in and it worked fine. hell i've had a computer i thought was broken and it was just that the power cord goin to the wall outlet was messed up....so it could be anything really.

i meant a member that is the site moderator he's hella good with computers....so are pretty much all the other members too. Good luck.

lol your best bet is the mod Dlewis23...but plenty of other members will be able to help more than i am able...im just the welcome wagon. patience is a virtue...especially on christmas eve night. trust me. you'll find an answer here though. it may take a day or so because of the holliday but i bet you'll get an answer.

welcome to the forum BigDave, enjoy your stay. ok well the connection is capped at 700k ...that means you are not allowed to get greater than 700k download speeds. if your paying for the 3mbps download speeds you might want to call the place back and tell them your paying for the 3mbps package and you want your cap moved up to what your paying for. because if its capped there is not a legal way to get greater than that by as much of a speed difference as you have. or maybe the cap is temp. i have no idea, but if its capped at that speed your not gonna get very much higher..epsecially not a whole 2.5mbps difference.

yeh dlewis, i'd use it more if my dock had some OS X features....

yeh coknuck rocketdock is awesome. i use it alot...and it has some cool options and very customizeable....
