  1. changing canopy settings may or may not change the speed that you are getting. go with the 20 steps thing by CB and forget about the canopy. good luck!

  5. lol 5-6 minutes? im no rookie!! make it 15 mins! lol. when i do it, i don't put it in a situation that is considered as short time.. she always says "We have all the time in the world"...
  6. lol, my uncle is in the operations, and its way way way far from the billing department. but yeah, i received a call this afternoon from the CS and they said the rebate will only be 300 pesos.. it's okay at least all i have to pay is 600 for this month. hehe.
  7. if you try to face the canopy to another direction there is a tendency that it will find new access point, with regards to this there is a tendency that there are some new constructions such as new buildings, apartments, that could be interfering with your line of sight somewhere in between your distance from your SM to AP.
  8. yeah 3 is kinda enough.. but im not quite sure about the genders though. they usually come in randoms. lol but first i have to find the would be luckiest girl.. lol by the way, if mom would read this she would surely go nagging ! lol.. cultures...

  11. secrets like how to access the canopy? (not a secret anymore) how bout how to get rid of the customer? how to rip something from someone, like asking for a fee which is supposed to be free? no thanks... but yeah, who knows,

  13. offering water is still being kind.. you could have let them produce their own water, like, have a dog chase them... lol
  14. yeah, that would surely ring a bell for them.. the process is actually long, you need to atleast have a series of call saying that your having a problem.. i've been calling them since march and may is going to end soon and no rebate yet.. but i wont stop until they will give me one..
  15. nice suggestion you got there frostbound... and yeah! this people needs martial law.. or else they're just going to rip you off. so go ahead and show them whose the boss.
  16. rebate, asking them to waive my previous months bill for i'm not satisfied with the service they gave me. and yeah the girl said shes making a report for it..
  17. as i can see it, the jitter is sooo high for the AP 130.. you got 6 when the max should only be around 3.. the channel is too noisy for the connection no wonder why you get disconnected many times. Here's what you can do for the meantime, 1. Try clearing the line of sight of your canopy to the base station, this includes removing any branches, leaves, that could be obstructing the signals... thus causing high jitter. 2. If it's impossible for you to remove this, you can actually transfer the canopy to a more suitable position, a higher less obstructed area. just make sure that it still faces the same direction, this can actually help... 3. Call the CS and have your canopy realigned or if deemed necessary you can ask them to have your canopy registered to a different AP. this is being done by changing the color code. This is a false result, you will only get the measurement once you point your canopy to this particular AP... (point means changing the color code to that of the AP) JITTER means fluctuation or interference level. HIGH JITTER means HIGH degree of interference. thus decreasing the level of RSSI which literally means RECEIVED SIGNAL STRENGTH INDICATOR... an ideal connection should have a low jitter and a high RSSI.. SectorUserCount should not be a bases of your assumption that this particular AP is the best one, you can still get good connection even if the SectorUserCount is HIGH... in my case there are 64 user connected and i still get an average of 400Kbps and a burst rate of 800Kbps... Jitter is 2 and RSSI is 478. WELCOME TO THE FORUM ORIEN!
  18. wow, i never thought anthropoid uses internet. lol good to see it here in TMN.
  19. i get a slow down with youtube as well, other sites works well. just with you tube.. by the way im in the phone right now with the CS, im asking for a rebate. i'll ask them about this... keep posted.

  22. if you have a working LAN port in your laptop, then directly inserting the cable to it would actually enable the internet... smartbro will detect the new settings on your connection such as the new MAC address that is specific to your laptops LAn card you will be encountering error which can be easily solved by calling the customer service and have your connections reset.. remember that when you use your desktop again you might need to call them back again.. to save your self the hassle of calling the CS, try getting some router.
