got milk Did you build this computer? If it is a prebuilt then you may not be able to change the CPU,ram voltage or change the ram divider. if ClockGen have these option listed,but they are shaded out then your motherboard will not allow you to change them.

You should get the your test result when the test ends. When you do a test what happens.

The hot fans right now seem to be the Zalman CNPS9500 or one of the Scythe SCMNorSCNJ series. They are big fans,so make sure they fit in your case and don't hit the power supply. I have not use either of these fans,but I do use a Zalman CNPS 7700-CU on one of my computer for a year now with no problems. I would highly recommend it. The CPU stay cool and the fan is quiet.

Since I do not use a software program I do not have one to recommend .I never try any of them,I prefer to use the BIOS. PM gotmilk and see which one he used. Be very careful when you start to overclock,only go up a little bit at a time.[2.4 to 2.45] and check the CPU temperature often.

You need to raise the cpu voltage and you may have to play with the ram divider& the ram voltage to get it to go higher. I had my 3700+ up to 2.8 GHz. Just make sure you keep a eye on the CPU temperature,IT can climb fast during gaming . If all you have is the factory CPU cooler I would not go much higher.

The whole system looks great. The only thing I can think to change is to go with the Intel E 6600 Conroe and save your self 193.99 US dollars.[do not know what the rate exchange is]. With the parts you are buying you can easy overclock it pass the 2.66 GHz of the E 6700 Conroe. From what I read the Conroe love overclocking. Just buy a good after market CPU cooler.

Comcast will charge you,run the cable your self. You can get cable all over the place.I went with the self install kit when I first got Comcast ,it worked out fine. It came with a motorola surf board modem,A two way splitter and some cable.
