that was odd, no its no diffrent overseas I dont know where your cap is then, cos somewhere on your route your ping will rise, there is no other way to cap your speed. Atleast what i know of maby your capped on defult gateway and that can be at your ISP datacenter, that way you will have higher ping outside your ISP net. to max out your connection you need several downloads, if your modem is capped to 3 Mbps it will raise your latency to your first hop when you have a constant 3 Mbps download. how many downloads needed is hard to tell 2-3 is enough for most ppl if they dl from low latency servers I will give you an example VanBuren

You need to set a max allowed client rate against your server, normal they use the value in Byte / second so if you have a 500 Kbps upload and want to host 10 ppl you have 500/10 = 50 Kbps/ player Now you need to split it in 8 (1Byte=8bit) 50/8 = 6.25 KB/s = 6250 Byte/second to use in server setup so here is some setup examples quake 3 SV_maxrate 6250 Unreal 2004 MaxClientRate=6250 MaxInternetClientRate=6250 good luck VanBuren

Heya mike I think its time to call your ISP and let them fix it 1st delete your tweaks by clicking delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry+ reboot, and when they come to your hose they have something to work on reaching 4 Mbps when you get your speed around 3.6 Mbps without tweaks, then you load this tweak again and get your 4 Mbps or more hehe good luck VanBuren

heya mike every thing looks good but RWIN value, that value is way too low, maybe you calculated with too low latency, (200-300 ms is normal for calculator) i will add this to my FAQ next time i update it. anyway do like this, load the 5000 768 file again and do not change anything but Defult send Window, set it to 68608 instead of 98304 click save to registry and reboot good luck VanBuren

Man thats robbing ppls money lol If i was in US and needed a webserver that handle 155 Mbps, i would rent one in sweden instead (edit: atleast if it costs this much, i have no idea what the average cost is for a dedicated server in US) , most websites dosent need fast speed to clients, they just need the bandwidth I have no problems with slow browsing in US sites from here. I bet a dedicated server 155/155 Mbps in Sweden dosent cost more then 1500 to 2000 USD a month for companys and yes i consider me lucky I just wished my ISP would get rid of trafficlimit on 100 Mbps service hehe VanBuren
