  1. The University of North Carolina at Greensboro: http://www.uncg.edu/ Not bad
  2. The automatic updater informed me of 1.4 and it's better for me as well.
  3. It's all good. The link was mainly for further reference/screens. At that time, I'd only been using it for only a few days, but it's been my main client ever since.

  6. OK, that doesn't sound too bad. Is there an app that can run in the system tray which would allow me to right-click and switch connections or use hot keys? or Maybe have an app which can separate the traffic and automatically switch to one connection when it detects downloading and then to the other for uploading, or is that too similar to my first question?
  7. The Quake keyboard is built in. Many other games will possibly be included as well. The keys illuminate to display whever app you're using at that very moment. - There will be an SDK and some user "keyboard studio" application which will allow the keyboard to be customized for any mode or application in any way imaginable, from DVORAK to arranging letters in alphabetical order. -
  8. Lets say a person has two connections in their home and both are individual accounts, independent of each other. One has a great download with an ok upload, and the other has an ok download with a great upload. Is there a program that allows you to specify which of the two connections handles inbound traffic only, and which of the two connection handles outbound traffic only?
  9. Art. Lebedev gives you an estimated price near the end of the interview. PT: Any approximations on cost yet? AL: I can hardly imagine it to be less than $** to $** (USD). Sounds like a lot for a keyboard, but most modern mobile phones cost about that. PT: Will it be wireless, Bluetooth, or USB only? AL: USB 2.0 for sure

  11. I've been waiting on this keyboard ever since Summer '05, and now it's finally on it's way come Feb. 1, 2006. This is going to be one hell of a device. I've gotta have one for my next system! Check out the way the keys change from lower-case to upper-case when shift is pressed, the color graphics, or how the layout changes to Quake when you start that game. Amazing! - Every key of the Optimus keyboard is a stand-alone display showing exactly what it is controlling at this very moment. - Homepage: Optimus Keyboard Has an images link at top. 12. Mabey this will turn into a sound system pictures thread (stock or actual). Here's mine: Logitech
  13. The 0.25 mm could be better, but it's ok. I hate to say it but, in a nutshell, yes. A flat screen CRT is my preference as well. Nah. I feel the exact opposite. Whenever I've played games on LCD's, the display wasn't as great and paled in comparison. However, the CRT's have always produced awesome graphics and been much better for me. As far as the DVI vs VGA: DVI is better than VGA for LCD
  14. Yep. As long as the VGA side is female, and the DVI side is male, you should be ok. Just to be clear, your monitor has the standard VGA connector while the graphics card has a DVI & VGA option correct?
  15. I have one that came with my graphics card. It's the single adapter, but there are cables as well. When using it, the only thing that I didn't like was that my TV Out wouldn't work with it connected. Nothing showed up on the TV until I disconnected it. http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=VGA%20to%20DVI&btnG=Google+Search&sa=N&tab=wi
  16. A CRT monitor will always outperform an LCD (Flat Panel), DVI or not. The graphics are more crisp, bright, and sharp on a CRT.
  17. Similar? Surely not because of the tabs? Several browsers have had tabs for quite some time now. MS decided to add them into IE7 to further capitalize on browser domination far into the future.
  18. I'm definitely picking it up at launch. It's going to be the OS of choice for the next 5-10 years.
  19. Yeah, the softmod is only for users with the modified bios applied already. Whenever I use the Omega drivers, I always select the softmod option and it works great. Give those links a try. Just make sure that you observe the memory on your card so that you'll know what memory you have. The ranges started at Infineon 3.6ns memory, but got as fast as 3.0ns.
  20. Why not? Has there been a hardware/bios change or something? I flashed the bios on mine shortly after they first came out and it worked great. The original flash with Kip Hardina's (Warp11) modified bios (9500WARP.Bin) worked, but his discovery of the hexadecimal was still new, and my memory wasn't exactly compatible. Artifacts were slightly noticeable in apps/games. I then acquired a more seasoned, modified bios (9500_33.Bin) that was specifically from a board with my exact same memory (the Infineon 3.3ns version), and the rest is history. Mabey you can unlock yours as well. See the links below. I fixed the 9500Pro BIOS. It's now overclockable! 9500 Pro users, what type of memory do you have? 21. As Swimmer stated, if the drive hasn't been touched already, the setting is more than likely Cable Select. That would allow Ryan314 to connect the hard drive to the secondary IDE plug option from the same strip already connected to the main drive in his system, and not have to change anything. The secondary IDE plug along with the Cable Select setting will automatically configure the drive as Slave. If not, he'll have to set it to slave manually. The picture that Swimmer posted is a great indicator of what Ryan314 should be looking for.
  22. This should be alot better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102600
  23. The idea sounds good, but the unlocking method would have to be tight & secure. Otherwise, it could turn out to be a disaster. - Having a master Windows Vista operating system means customers that buy PCs preloaded with one Vista SKU, Home Basic, for example, will be able to punch their credit card into a Microsoft Web site to unlock Vista Home Premium and more speedily deploy media center features without an on-site visit or requiring a wipe and reload of the system. - Read more here: Microsoft To Ship All OS Bits With Every Version Of Vista
