  8. Hey guys I am going to try something and need some help... I was wondering if any of you know of a program that allows you to tell a server how to break down a file... Like if the file is 1mb break it into like 300k and download those at seperate times... Then find a way to make it so that 1 nic downloads its 300 then the other and then back to the orginal... This way you get the burst speed and while one nic is running the next is find the file... Just an idea.. Any ideas on how to make this work... I read an article on dual dial up modems... Thought it would be cool if we could almost double our connections with a simular idea...

  25. So you have heard some of us talking about how we have file servers at our homes to provide our network users files and other things.... Well if you dont want to spend the money or find that stuff to complicated you can now opt to pick up Linksys' Network Storage Link for USB hard drives... What this does is take a USB hard drive and plug it into a free standing hub with then plugs into a router or switch... Not bad for only $99 plus the cost of a hard drive... Ofcouse you could buy a USB adaptor for a hard drive you have and then it would be even cheaper... take a look... http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?grid=35&scid=43&prid=640
