  2. I originally posted the news story in April after the first upgrade. I don't know what if anything has changed since then.
  3. You won't necessarily get an e-mail. I live in MA where the upgrade is officially complete, and never got an e-maol.
  4. OMFG my Xbox is going to be an our off, and "won't someone please think of the tv listings!" er I mean children . :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: Seriously though, we got a year and a half, don't worry. But then again....
  5. All this searching for the Anykey is making me thirsty. I think I'll order a Tab.
  6. I say it depends on what's available where you live.
  7. I just finished CSI: Dark Motives. Very cool. My grandmother gave me the game. I've never seen the show, but after playing the game, I find myself watching CSI on Spike TV everyday. Anyway, back to the game. It's a crime solving game, where you play a CSI (Crime scene Investigator), and solve cases. It's not as easy as you think. Sorry if I sound like an ad.
  8. Flash and especially trailer ads are annoying. Some times they can take a while to load.
  9. Yes they do. "Our in-store services are designed to give our customers complete support, from implementation to repairs to software and hardware upgrades. For over 10 years, our customers have come to rely on the benefits of using CompUSA not only for installations and repairs, but also for learning how to use technology effectively. 10. Nice speeds. RCN almost moved in to my town a few years ago to compete with Comcast. I don't remember exactly what happened though.
  11. Welcome to the forums, emperorplucky As HaloBox said, Cablenut only changes certain Windows settings for better performance. Uncapping, would be hacking into your modem, and changing settings on a certain file. Even if you own your modem, it would still be illegal. So, tweak your computer as much as you want!
  12. Have you read the top two posts (tips and sticky) of this board yet?
  13. It looks like you're getting your advertised speeds. I'd just leave it.
  14. Looks pretty good. Have you done any tweaks?
  15. Are you asking me? Because, I agree Paint is good enough for screenshots. I was saying IE (built in) sucks.
  16. Cool. I was wondering, because I didn't think you could put that much in a notebook. A raid setup for example.
  17. I remember that one. Mythbusters rules. I've also heard of this happening on game systems too. It can happen if the disc is cracked a little, in the middle for example. Some CD cases have pretty hard plastic, you almost have to yank it out. When you put the disc in the drive, the drive spins up, and when it reaches it's top speed, BAM!! There goes the disc. It's more likely to happen on newer faster drives It hasn't happened to me.
  18. Because it sucks... Not paint. M$ IE would be a good example though.
  19. Ok. Screen shots sometimes make it easier to see what's wrong. Especially since there are so many combinations of browsers, screen sizes, etc.
  20. Maybe no one knows how to fix the problem is. I don't.
  21. Can you post a screenshot of yahoo.com in IE and one in FF?
  22. You made a copy of Windows that you can run completely from CD? That's what Swimmer's talking about. You run the OS completely from the cd/dvd. No installation is needed.
  23. You could try changing the text size in IE to a smaller size. I think the setting is in the View menu.
