Thanks for admitting the truth. We don't relly like whan people lie about they're speeds on this site. You should also watch your language on the boards in the future.
-
Exactly. Your original post made it sound like you thought it was real. Please try to be more clear in future posts.
-
The highest speed you can achieve with a single T1 line is 1.544Mbps. Your results showed 6Mb. Either you're lying about your connection speed or those are cached results.
-
Defenatly not a T1. What is "pretty good for running 2 16's and a 12 in cs on the xbox"

Probably tomorroy or the next day. "Average registrations per day: 55.06"
-
That sounds about right to me. Edit: BTW, this should be on the general discussion board.

There are some phone numbers on this page http://www22.verizon.com/customerSupport/contactus/contacts/ Make sure you tell them what happened. They should be liably for it if it was their fault.

Googling , Googling, Gone...(Beware How You Google)

Nope. All I did though was go to the home page. I didn't do a search. -
I use Zone Alarm (free edition) and have no speed problems. Do you have the latest version? I've heard some people have been having speed problems with certian versions.

I don't think someone will mistake that for the real Google. That site looks totally different. It doesn't even have a name on the front page. -

Mirror-piptech is also down:

Sorry, but IE is built into XP. You can't remove it. M$ has tightly intergrated IE with Windows. It's just another example of M$'s stranglehold on the OS and browser market.
-
What version of Windows and IE do you have?
-
It's now over 7800.
-
Read the last part of his quote.^ He is probably having signal problems.

Something must be wrong, but it would be cool

It's because that mirror is offline. Here is the link https://testmy.net/o-mirror-piptech -
Here is something from D-Link support: "How do I uplink to another hub / switch Print You can always connect an ethernet hub/switch to another hub/switch. Some hubs/switches have uplink ports, and others do not. The configuration for all scenarios is listed below: NORMAL PORT TO NORMAL PORT ---- CROSSOVER CABLE UPLINK PORT TO UPLINK PORT ---- CROSSOVER CABLE UPLINK PORT TO NORMAL PORT ---- STRAIGHT THROUGH/PATCH CABLE NORMAL PORT TO UPLINK PORT ---- STRAIGHT THROUGH/PATCH CABLE Remember, if you have a link light than the cable is right." I've never tried it, but it seems easy enough to do. A router is also a hub. If ou connect 2 together you have to change the LAN IP address on the second router/hub. When connecting 2 routers together, connect the second one through a lan port, NOT the wan port.
