1. Can't you just create an a account there to post? I just did and It looks like I can post comments.
2. It's working for me. According to a story at Broadbandreports.com, it was a DNS misconfiguration on Googles part.
3. I picked comedy and action. For comedy I like Jim Carey and Adam Sandler. As for action movies, I like movies like the "good ol' car chase" type movies.
4. Mine does go Idle, but I'm not sure how long. It seems like mabey 5 minutes. The online help said it has an on/off switch, but it doesn't. But As I said in my last post, I use rechargable batteries.
5. From what I've heard, it can sometimes take a few days to see your new speeds. If you don't see them soon just call Comcast to make sure they gave you the upgrade.
6. I'm not sure. First you should check to make sure your current modem is compatible with the new speeds.
7. Did you reboot your modem and router (if you have one) after receiving the upgrade?
8. Try stopping the video, then starting it again. Sometimes that works.
9. Sometimes the video won't look right until it's completely downloaded. It's usually better to let the video download, then view it. Unless of course it's a streamed video.
10. Does the mouse setup have any application specific settings? Or does the game have any mouse settings? Some games might not be compatible with all mice. I don't play PC games much, so that's all I can think of. I have a Kensington Pilot Mouse Optical Wireless. It works very good as long as I keep it within range. The batteries seem to last only about 3 weeks, but I use rechargeable batteries which for some reason aren't as powerful. Also my mouse doesn't tell me when the battery it low until it's almost too late. But other than that I love this mouse,
11. That makes sense. This topic probably would have been 3 pages shorter if there was a poll.
12. what do you mean by a "10/10mbit config"? Comcast's higest speed in 6Mb/384Kb.
13. http://washington.bizjournals.com/washington/stories/2005/05/02/daily20.html Only 21.7 million to go.
14. Besides ever growing "Basic cable" I've never had any pricing problems with Comcast. When you looked at your bill, did it say what the $50 charge was for? I've heard some people get charged a $3.00 modem rental fee even though they own the modem. They just called Comcast and got the charges taken off. Also did you wait until the next bill came? Because sometimes it can take one or even 2 billing cycles for charges to be reversed.
15. I was using it will it was still in beta. It's pretty cool. As for Google video search, they don't have any videos online yet. But I like their search method. Your search is based on closed captions. Yahoo!'s seems like it's based on file names.
16. It seems like if you call Comcast and tell them you had a service outage, they may give you a refund. news story here
17. Which package do you have?
18. I'm not 100% sure, but can't you link your screen names together?
19. They announced it last month. They most likely did it to compete with Google's Gmail.
20. Yes, it is good for me. Especially since I have a personal address account.
