  1. well thats kinda odd. im running on bitlord. anyways, jun when you run some speed test which OS gives out more juice? the xp or the home ed.? what can i say? none bitlord people mess my chi!.
  2. ok, that sounds cool 3 pcs routed on a single canopy, are all those pc on the same OS? would love to know if some or one of those are running on xp pro and the other at xp home and the speed details for each OS, oh my that would be nice on my case and ill try much more tweakin' different OS.
  3. ok that seems to be doable with a router, guess pretty much changing the NAT on the the canopy wont be of help because one subscriber has already tried and he was booted out from accessing the canopy again, just forget the name though. how many pc's have you got there routed by the way? whats your MTU or the routers? just a question cause i might try to connect one in the other room.
  4. have you touched the canopy under NAT for that port forwarding? how was it done in your case?
  5. you can try this file instead, it normally happens css dont work with other pcs. save to registry and clear cache before takin a a speed test.
  6. haha it worked for you and thats cool.
  7. stick to one. thats the golden rule.
  8. hi burst but jitter sucks! il use my old color code instead.
  9. dig on the post made by other people and how to achieve a pc that can handle the connections well. optimize your end and it will save you unless the problem is in the base station itself which we cannot do something.
  10. hi everyone, just got back from Davao, seems everything is fine, more users coping up with smartbro's "quality" service. complaints, frustrated consumers etc, well smartbro has always been that and nothing new here. just keep up with them, they slack off, we report, buzz em up they're used to it. @bankay, give this file a shot. sorry been away i haven't check my box.
  11. too bad, till now i don't have luck so far with TCP Optimizer.
  12. http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-1013 this is a cablenut topic, as you read on you can download the cablenut program and install it to your pc. much has been said about cablenut as it goes with ease, there are also other programs like TCP/Optimizer for one, i haven't touched on that latter part as I am a cablenut user. just give it a try. try this file setting and see if it makes your line more stable, my personal setting.
  13. hi Djay and welcome to the forums. glad you read the guides on tweaking and hope it helped you. to know how your speed is doing now and before you could have done some previous speedtest prior to the tweaks. in case you think that you are running well after tweaking then mostly it helped. many have come here before with their speed way below the broadband standards and made it better and improved, hope we can share to you some good points on tweaks and stuff, feel free to ask around, welcome again to the forums.
  14. there's always a point on how you see a good service from being the best there is as stated. lets have an example, when they said literally that they are the "pambansang broadband" which translates to being the best there is in the country, i would not say yes and wouldn't say no either, smart has a big reputation and they proved that because they had this type of internet at a low cost, most nationwide coverage, and no because all throughout this time its their own customers that are going against them for the frailty of the services, changing isp's out of frustration and bad service experience, which makes me say they are not what they claimed to be. reasons are not justified because of this and that, its because they all just wanna run with our money instead of earning the trust to be truly as they claimed to be "pambansang broadband". this words isn't new to us under their flagship. the more we seek for a better service the more we just end up being misled. hope they see whats right, and hope they will give us that warmth of responsibility.
  15. lalala makes it makes some people sing sometimes having those speeds. glad it still is running that way. @tagasipol thats surely way better than those days. try to bring up your router config and see whats set in it. maybe the router hasn't been configured to give its all. thats a suggestion, there are cases where routers are whats doing it wrong.
  16. aight, hope it wont be a disastrous wake when your up.
  17. hope it stays that way. you've been robbed early on and that should do it for now, hope that ends never.
  18. p2p boy! better not stay away from those speeds. nyahahah
  19. vista as far as i know has that built in auto tune. just forgot the link on how to disable that so you can have a user value instead. let me look into that.
  20. glad you guys are making it right, just try your best though and maybe you can pull the best out of your current speed. post up what you did so others can follow, and it would be easier for others to try what you have done to achieve a good speed.
  21. ow that one setting shouldn't have been touched. by the way you might try to access your canopy via the reset plug, how its done is covered much already in elijahpauls smartbro tweaks. good luck bro. i know its frustrating goin up and and down but you must do that. reset first and we'll try to make suggestions on how the tweak should be done the next time around.
  22. okay lets look into that matter, its always nice to try and help. wheres your location here in zamboanga?
