unlocked my canopy after our area AP majority has changed to the 10.xx.xx.xx series access. fixed 10mbps back to 100mbps lan aggregate.

if its for the best quality service then thats cool. saves them more than replacing broken canopy's from the users they never gave they're equal service. btw 20 step rocks!

actually it would save alot for people testing here in the Philippines. much more its nicer to have a TMN server at our very own country. hope this goes well. goodluck

lol thats your 20 step setup on my 2nd xp machine. it ain't a blessing coz i miss playing with the canopy . almost all the users here have been locked up too.

i just watched some dvd's while smart fixed em. too bad when it was restored. i lost the canopy access and the 10mbps are back again. not even the MAC values wont work. sweet.

hmm.thats fast for 12 hr downtime. that was like watching 4-5 dvds non stop. last downtime here in zambo is like almost 2 days. lol

true. it can't be helped sometimes but to do it our own way. its still best we carry on with the best possible solution to remedy their downsided services.

canopy placement and antenna orientation is always the first rule. if your tech did a good job then your in for a good day. mine was like horrible 9 ft pole with trees all over but still it does the job after i did some adjustments on my own. next are the tweaks and the sort of miracles after that.

tweaked canopy settings and tcp settings wont give out immediate boost. should you try different settings, its best when your AP's are on low like less users at that moment. its cumbersome to try to tweak things up on the most times people are using the line, you wont get the boost effect on those situations, tips would be to tweak when your are running on your very best speeds, less users on the sector and on a good weather.

best to have a nice quarantine system if you think you need the files but its bundled with viruses/trojan, you can isolate the part that has the mentioned malwares/spywares, but eventually not all files can be saved and sometimes deletion is the last option than repair.

glad to be able to check some progress. this topics have grown up well as far as the guys have their time on it. Coolbuster and the rest are always here. - make sure though you got your stuff backed up before making changes and have a clean registry for the tweaks. most tweaks fail when its not bein applied right. remove dead registry keys is one thing to keep in mind.

when changing color codes make sure you log in to you smart portal page. activate it till you get the message you may start surfing. that is done after you switched color code coz the first thing you'll notice after the switch is that you'd be re directed to the portal. make sure your registered your new code or new AP first. when you wanna revert back to your old color code the steps are all the same.

yerr running the risk instead of doing it the real deal way not relying on add on stuffs to make your speed optimal. more so you'd get more registry issues to fix than watch your speed improve.

surge it via reverse polarity dc current, i used mine 12 volts and it did what i wanted, at the lan plug you should short the wires there, i stripped off the wire from the positive and negative ends and shorted all the wires.

tmn gives by far best results than speedtest. and to think it doesnt even run on the country side sponsored server.

beats others for flexibility. crap cleaner for the win!
