hmmm i guess there is something wrong with your connection. can i request something? please post a screenshot of the process running in your pc. to do it press ctrl/alt/del then go to processes. print screen paste to Windows Paint and save file. post the image here. tnx.

also, in replying to a post, do not use Quick Reply, use the Reply button beside Notify. when it's opened there's a button there for Additional Options, you will find Attach...then you can attach your image file (your screenshot).

when you play a youtube video, pause the player first for about 30 seconds before continuing to allow the video to be downloaded in the internet temporary files first. by default, Windows XP caches both correct and faulty DNS lookups in the DNS cache service. To increase performance, by eliminating the caching of faulty DNS lookups, change the following values from whatever their original values are to hexadecimal value of zero. Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServices DnscacheParameters NegativeCacheTime REG_DWORD 0x00000000 (0) NetFailureCacheTime REG_DWORD 0x00000000 (0) NegativeSOACacheTime REG_DWORD 0x00000000 (0) If these value are not there yet, create them by simply right-clicking then choose New then DWORD Value. reboot your pc to allow the changes to take effect.

remove both. don't use any browser toolbar if you want to browse the net faster.

you are on pldt right? somehow it is TCP Optimizer that fits to a PLDT connection. 1) uninstall CableNut 2) download the tcpip patcher and set your TcpMaxHalfOpen connections to 100 3) download TCP Optimizer, unzip 4) set the slider to 3000Kbps 5) click Optimal Settings, then apply/ok.

oh bad for you cocknuck. mine is getting better so far. -
try this ccs.
-
it's an option but you can run it manually, just fine if not run on startup. please post your observation and test result after all these. thank you.
-
underlined with yellow. these are the processes i suggest you disable using WinPatrol.

@ Jetzone2k8 and jokesor. welcome to testmy.net we're happy to have you both here! @ Jetzone2k8, let's concentrate on your Startup. i suggest you do the following: SpeedupmyPC - uninstall utorrent - remove Winpatrol - remove Winamp agent - remove Quickfix - totally uninstall AVG anti-virus - should run in startup LG ODD Firmware check (for my DVD Burner) - disable Realtek HD Audio Manager (sound driver) - disable Power ISO - remove Windows Messenger (I don't use it) - remove or uninstall SIS utility tray (video) - remove HP digital Imaging monitor (printer) - remove Spybot S&D - run Nokia PC Suite (seldom used) - (you said it!) remove Cfosspeed - (better you still have nice speed even if you have this installed) uninstall DAP - (some say this is adware, why not try IDM) uninstall To easily disable/remove them in your startup, download and install WinPatrol 2007. To uninstall, simply go to your Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs. To clean up registry junks use ccleaner.

Some of the best ways are the following. Credit goes to John of johntp.com:

you're welcome
-
it's ok now. winpatrol can be excluded in the startup too. nice test result you got there. try to DL test only because your DL was your main problem in the first place. when editing your post. use the modify button. so far so good.
-
very good @ ayashino. now please post the running processes. and try to apply the attached cablenut ccs. let's see what happens. use IE7 in speed testing.
-
@ ayashino. ok so you got plenty of progs and processes running in your pc. i felt some of them are useless and probably would slow down your download speed. so here are my recommendations, but you are not obliged to follow everything if you don't feel like doing it. A) please refer to the "processes" image below. read first the feedbacks/reviews on these items before proceeding. those in yellow color are the ones you can disable in startup. these are: 1) LimeWire - this will really slow down your DL speed! 2) WLLoginProxy.exe http://www.file.net/process/wlloginproxy.exe.html 3) jusched.exe http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/process/jusched.exe.html 4) SOUNDMAN.EXE http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies-archive.cfm/728027.html 5) MsPMSPSv.exe http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/process/mspmspsv.exe.html 6) ctfmon.exe - CTFMON.exe is a largely unnecessary Microsoft Office executable that likes to run even while Office is not. It has something to do with Alternative User Input and the Office Language bar, apparently. Here

Here's How: 1. Press the Print Screen key on your keyboard. 2. Open an image editing program, such as Photo Filtre or Microsoft Paint. 3. Go to the Edit menu and choose Paste. 4. If prompted to enlarge the image, choose Yes. 5. Optional: Use your image editor's crop tool to crop out unnecessary portions of the screen shot. 6. Go to the File Menu and choose Save As. 7. Navigate to the folder where you want to save the image. 8. Type a file name for the image. 9. Select a file type. 10. Click the Save button.
