  1. never did install it. nortons' a headache!
  2. 2 HDs for a total of 120gigs now full? what do your store, movies?
  3. yes you are @ kerby_kerby strongest RSSI and Power level because you're near the base station the least jitter and Usercount. very nice.
  4. oh that's good for you. its possible that you will have that speed especially now that you have already increased the DL and decreased the UL settings of your canopy.
  5. i think the charge was for the pole. they extended that hoping to compensate for your far distance from the base station, and a better line of sight between your antenna and the access point. did they not change anything in your canopy configuration? please post your AP Eval page now so we can see the difference after the pole extension.
  6. none i think so. its smartbro who will pay their contractors to do that for you. @ FB, where have you been? hottestarcher is almost 6,000 feet far from his base station so he wanted a re homing. as posted he is scheduled a field visit today.
  7. no. but i have attached one that will work for those with a router. there's just slight difference on the setting. goodluck.
  8. you will find answers to so many questions regarding smartbro customer care here http://www.testmy.net/t-20571
  9. the easiest way is to call them more often. tip: when in *1888, press 1 for new applications so that you will not wait too long before they answer your call.
  10. :::.. 11. it depends on the availability of the contractor's technical staff. yes you will lose connection but not long. it will take at least an hour.
  12. simple. try to look for another smart cellsite in your area. if they ask you, tell them that you know that your antenna is currently beamed to a base station which is too far away. during rehoming, they will: - point or redirect your antenna to another smart tower (base station) - re-register your site information in that base station, and - find the appropriate color code.
  13. so you're on color code 152 w/c has: RSSI: 502 Range: 5194 feet SectorUserCount: 49 you have low RSSI because you are very far from your base station. plus, you are sharing the same access point with 49 users at this early time of the day and probably more during peak hours. that's the culprit of your slow connection. don't tweak anymore, the problem is not in your pc. i suggest you find out if there's another base station (smart cellsite) nearest you. if there is, call smartbro customer service at *1888 right away and request for a rehoming.
  14. tcpip.sys only. woooo. tell us you were just kidding or else it is blasphemy. heheee
  15. these are the ones that can be disabled in startup. btw, do not run ym if you're doing a speed test. YahooMessenger SMAgent.exe ctfmon.exe can you possibly post your Canopy AP Eval page?

  17. ok. before you apply the ccs, i suggest you change your tcpmaxhalfopen connections first to 100. (program attached) then apply the attached ccs.
  18. some say it does not have real effect on internet speed, but we can always try right? so here's how to do it: 1) Open Start MenuRun 2) Type gpedit.msc 3) A 'Group Policy' window will appear. In it, expand 'Administrative Templates'. 4) Expand 'Network'. 5) Click 'QoS Packet Scheduler. 6) In the right pane double-click 'Limit reservable bandwidth'. A pop-up window will appear. 7) Click 'Enable'. 8.) In the "Bandwidth limit (%)' box, type 0 9) Click 'Apply', then 'OK'. 10) Restart computer.
