welocme to the forum I hate to disappoint you , but that second test is definitely fake abd the first one probably it as well. I tested on the same mirror after clearing everything and got about 27Mbs. I have DirecWay, and rarely touch 1Mbs

sounds kindof like the battery cant handle the increased processor load, but that doesnt make much sense

you still have access to the drives, they will just have a different ip address. you may have to set an ip address for the computer that is connected to the xp

on the xp comp, select both lan connections, right click and click on bridge connections

the speed difference mainly is because of your routes to the servers. try doing a tracert against each server...

the ip for the DW6000 is only 192.168.0.1 on a consumer account (i believe so anyway)
