Well what ports you can use depend on what ports you have open. If your behind a router, than youll have to manually open the ports you wish to use. If your not behind a router, than just make up an off the wall port.. like 43667.. These are just examples 1 - TCP : 5555 UDP : 20715 2 - Your ip address : www.ipchicken.com 3 - honestly, not too sure about but should / could prolly be left as is. BTW im using apex DC++ so.. My connection settings screen will vary from yours/
-
Try changing the port to something off the wall. If their limiting you, it may just be on the common DC++ port. Try changing the port your dc++ uses and see if the speeds re-increase. If they do not, than its a network wide change.... but i highly doubt it.

Thats not necessarily true.. When i first got TWC here, I had the 3 / 256 package. twas the shit back in its day i assure you, and i used to easily pull 3.7 , 3.8 + down all the time.. now that i got all these ya'hoos moved in around me i barely touch my cap. :sigh: i miss being the only one on my kernal

No! dont do that... Because alot of online pay options use " internet electronic checking" You HAVE to keep a check book or you will overdraft your account quick. Checks take between 3 and 14 days to clear depending on who and when they cash it. So you write out a check , well not literally write it out, but you pay your , for example, Geico payment online, which is one site that uses the electronic checking, and it doesnt clear for a week.... you forget it hasnt cleared so you go out and get yourself a stereo for $200.00 ... BAM! YOur not onjloy $-200 in the bank but your actually -$236 in the bank because of the NSF sercharge. ALWAYS keep a damn written log... You work for your money , dont fuck it up!
