Blah iv tried from 95 to server2k3 and the longhorn leak thing.. Im curerrently sticking with winxp pro w / sp2 . When longhorn comes out i highly doubt ill switch.. Its new filing system is an ub3r pain in the ass.
I agree, but he was saying ( in PM ) its already in the 2.x GB range in size.. NO system file should be THAT large.. hell windows XP itself is only about 3 - 4GB in total.. and this system volume folder is already 2 GB and increasing. O_o
Commenting is already a feature in the news script. Ca3le just needs to adjust the permission settings to allow guests to post comments on the topic. Sorta like these forums have a feature to allow "Guests" OR "Registered users only" to post replies and topics.
The extra 500 kbs is only a burst , which the accelerator provides. .. but thats only in the beginning. On that large of a file i dont think it would sustain 500 + extra kbs lol . If that were the case id go back to dialup and just use the accelerator
yea but the "comments" part should be allowed by all . He just needs to adjust the settings to allow everyone to be able to comment,. and not just registered users.
Right now the news section can only be used by moderators and chosen news folks.. ( already been done by ca3le)
I think ca3le will need to either remove the ability to make comments ont he articals, or find a way to integrate the forums with the news script.
lol chillax dude, just sayin that how much you make, is somewhat personal and not for the 8.6k members here to know lol. I believe ca3le once told me on aim.. but if i remember correctly its quite a nice chunk of change. Makes me want to just start clicking the hell out of thoes banners
Im currently running an emachines t2080 , with award bios 6 and i do not have an option to disable, turn off, stop, not use whatever my onboard video card. i have looked, thus not ALL mobos have this option.
Thats right. Even if you disabled it in bios ( IF that is an option.. like on my mobo its not.) windows will still detect it being there. So its necessary to disable it in at least windows.
Its the only way i can keep the comp from freezing (so far) lol. You dont ralize just how important the motherboard is till you have a bad one
