I have the 4000/512 package from Cox and this is what I get for 40$$ a month. For the most part I get 4.2 but no higher than that. :::.. That is very disgusting. I couldn't watch that for very long at all. I'm an animal lover, I have 5dogs. I just don't see how ANYBODY could do something like this. To me that would be like skinning a human alive. I would NEVER Support a company that is doing something so shitty and so inhumane. Someone should do to them like they're doing to those poor animals. That is just PLAIN WRONG!

When I test my speed on testmy.net it gives me these results; :::.. I have tweaked with cablenut and I have the 4000/512 connection thru COX.

Since I'm on Cox HSI I went to their test site and it's saying that I'm runnin slower than I actually am. I have been coming to testmy.net for a while now and I trust Testmy over their [Cox] test. Here's my results from both places including my upload. Pretty good difference especially in my upload. I tested mutiple times at Cox's site and it wasn't stable at all. My speed was all over the place, and getting worse. So I'll stick with Testmy.net since it's stable and my speed is consistant everytime I test.. I'm using Bitdefender 8 Pro and it works fine for me. It has the antivirus and firewall and I really like it...

Hi Risky, When I convert avi files I always convert them to VCD and they work perfectly fine for me as my DVD player will recognize them. It will also play SVCD but when I'd convert them to SVCD they didn't play as well as they do when converting them to VCD. If I remember right the SVCD compresses them more than the VSD does. I just experimented until I found the best option for me.

I just uploaded mine and it worked fine for me without any problems.

Hi Ca3LE, I just want to say Thanks for making this an awesome site for all of us to come too, and test our speeds.

I also have the 4000/512 package from Cox and I haven't had any problems at all with them and would refer them anyday over anybody.. Everybody has good and bad to say about every ISP no matter what. It all reflects on the experience that you've had with them. Although to me Cable is the only way to go. I too can care less about the e-mail storage cause after I read it , it's deleted anyway. I tend to download more and as long as my dl is good then that's all I care. ' COX RULEZ ' :D

I have come to find out in the past that Aohell doesn't know what the word 'NO' means. They can be so frustrating because of that too.

I get around 4.3 - 5.0 on the 12. Depends on when I test of course. Next time I test on the 12 I'll post it. :D

I have cable and I have the 4000/512 package and without mine tweaked I get around 3.7 - 3.9 and with it tweaked I can get as high as 5.0 - 5.1 that's a big difference, and since I've had cable and have experienced it I won't be goin back to anything else anytime soon! I'll just go up from here on out, if the good Lord is willing. Once you get cable you'll be saying the same thing. Cable is much much better than DSL. Good Luck !!

I was just thinking that if maybe you can change it from Fat32 to NTFS then maybe it would decompress like that. I don't really know but it was a thought. My main drive is NTFS and the other one is a Fat32 and the NTFS is the one that's NOT compressed. My Fat32 drive is compressed so maybe if you change it that will decompress it.

I think that a month is more than enough, why have that space taken up for really no reason.??. However I agree with 'resopalrabotnick ' I think this is the best answer yet. Plus with it only saving 3days of Non Members it might make them want to join. However I don't see why they don't go ahead and join anyway, cause this is the most accurate site as far as speed tests goes. At least I think so anyway. It is by far the best that I have come accross, plus you can't beat the people here either. :D
