i ended up wiht the dumeter and i think it's awesome

thnx when i went to one thing it said to do............. start>run>cmd and type in that stuff with the cd in the drive.........it said file destination not found or something like that so now on the windows support link from there it says open wordpad and type in a whole bunch of stuff then save as the file names that are missing and put them in the correct folders i guess i should do that right now right??????????? dang all this trouble to install a program that isn't nessecary for my pc lmao

ok yeah this game used to run really well on my pc since well yah your right it should it doesn't take much of anything to run this game.......but i will post back about the registry and say if it installs edit/ would this program work to clean the registry?

i have used this before too..........this time though........... it didn't work i tried and it said checking d drive setup then the window that was in closed and my cd drive kicked on (could hear it spinning) then after a few seconds my hd light blinked a few times then everything just stopped and i got that msg. again that is in my screenshot................. :mad2: do u maybe have any other ideas

ive had this game on my system before but now when i try to install games it's alway this message that pops up..........i can only install about half my games without my pc having this msg. pop up......but it should install no prooblems beause i have already had this game installed before..........so why won't it let me install it now???

i uninstalled a game a while bvack and decided to install a new game..........it's an older game really called secret service.............and when i put the disk in even though for some reason my autorun is disabled even though it's checked to prompt me with a box when i put the cd in.......anyways it comes up with this message when i try to install it...........here's the screenshot...........

i have changed stuff in the start up tab in msconfig.....but a computer tech guy told me what to check and uncheck other than that i was just curious..............

to change my startup i always typed in msconfig in the run menu...........well now i was told that it screws up a pc to change it from there.........i don't think it is, right? well anyways i was told instead to type in services.msc and it is supposed to bring up a window. i haven't tried it so what does this do thats different from msconfig? ------------------------------------- billybob

well thanks at least i won't be at all like one of my friends when his win. 95 comp hard drive messed up....he got mad and waited until the july 4th and blew the whole thing up......... lmao

i thank you much...i was just geting tired of asking people to fix problems so now i am trying to learn how to fix them myself...........i wish my friends could do the same....lol

is there any good sites or somthing that help with pc knowledge because instead of coming here right off the bat...i will still come her don't worry........lololol but what are good places to ..get help then try to fix it myself without asking everyone first.....

well after reading the memory help thread i got the idea that i needed to buy myself a new hd and i do.......mine is not even a 20gb hd because it was once just an office pc..... so does anyone have any good ideas that tell me which brands or sizes to buy........i am mainly going to sotre only one game (most likely) and have alot of music and a few movies and a whole bunch of pics......what size is good do you think....i was thinking min. 40gb and max 80gb since all i am limited to is walmart.... :angry2:

all i have is a gamecube and a ps1 i don't really mess around much with game consols but if i do get a ps2 in the near future then i would try this game out......i will tell some of my friends to get this game and i will play on xbox live if he still has it........from other reveiws it looks great can't wait to play it.

who has sig x.......i was just curious....when you registered did you have to pay for it...on the main page i tried to register and it siad pick a service and the lowest one cost $10.00 and i am not going to get it if i have to pay for it......do i have to pay? edit// is it free is basically my question but when i type in my wanted username and password it says pick a package.....i don't want one i want a free sigx signature....!!!!!!!! edit(again)// ok,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,nvm i went to the site and registered an account then when the page came up asking me which package i wanted i just closed the ff browser window and logged in on my sigx thing i dl so now it lets me log in.......was that how i was supposed to do it???? well it worked anyways but if i click the go to config page it will bring up the page with the pick your package ............i thought i had it figured out too...............AAAAAHHHHHH there is a link though that says continue to modification page....would that work or would it still make me pay since it automaticaly has a package checked.......
