  1. i get the same error as you, something is probally wrong in there database for that area, your just going to have to wait or call them.
  2. do you have a router? no, if the other test gave you 2.9mbps then your getting 2.9mbps have you tried tweaking your connection at all. if not you can try tcp optimazer or cablenut.
  3. that shouldn't be a conflict.
  4. vitico66 forget the linksys install CD. just make sure the modem is pluged into the routers WAN port and the computer is pluged into the router. get into the routers control panel 192.168.1.1 and on the first page set the internet connection type to PPPoE enter your username and password and click save changes, and you should be connected and working.

  13. ok then i would say its gotta be something with them give them a call and tell them that you reinstalled windows and it still doesnt work.
  14. you actually really dont need that great of a heatsink, the key is getting good contact from the top plate to the bottom of the heatsink any gaps will score you up. Ive actually run then with just an aluminum plate with fins and they do fine.
  15. Crazy_17 have you tried tweaking your connection at all.
  16. yea the new control panel is very nice, but i was so close to going back to the old drivers.
  17. its not bad at all van good system for a good price. A celeron D would be a little faster then a sempron, but for what you parents are going to be doing i really dont think it would make much of a difference.
  18. nero is probally your best bet, you can use the trial of it to do what you want to do. there are a few good free ones around. this one here is free and pertty good. http://www.cdburnerxp.se/features.php
  19. thats all about compression, if 1 movie is 700mb then 4 is only going to be 2800mb. so it fits just fine.
  20. if they are that big your not going to want to put 4 movies onto 1 CD, its just going to look like crap. Your going to have to put them on a DVD.
  21. does your phone plan have data transfer on it? its most likely not your computer or anything your doing its the phone company.
  22. well if it never downloads faster then 170kb/s then its the source, download this file and tell me what speed you get http://www.testmy.net/speedtest/20MB
  23. how big are the movies? you could just re-encode them into 1 video that would fit on to the cd.
