Larry thats a really nice download your upload speed its still advertised at 768kbps so what you are getting is not that bad. if you turn off norton and your firewall do you still get the same upload result?

go Intel core duo, stay away from the AMD mobile stuff. The Intel mobile processors are far better then the AMD mobile processors.

that us a nice speed for a libary, and it is nice of them to have Dell XPS systems but that those computers dont make the internet go any faster.

soggyrice you wre really close to your advertised speed. have you tried tweaking your connection at all yet?

vudutu if your on a T1 and its shard that many times, then you are getting the right speed, i wouldnt worry about it.
