well then you might not be host then unless your playing a small game cause big team battle definitly uses more than that at 10 people when your host

i use on average about 8 kB/s which is 65.54 Kbps and have hit 17 kB/s which is 139.26 Kbps just playing not hosting so you will lag a bit here and there on certain games and not on others and you see the difference in speed being used so it depends who you play also.. these are exact numbers recorded from my computer on halo 2

if you are close dsl owns cable by far with better ping times and consistint speeds and if your close enough you can get more speed than cable. if your too far dsl will be crap so it depends on where you live and also the provider you get. basically there is no better service its all luck where you live and what you can get.

actually its not cause i never have a problem hosting on it ever and the speed is always the same every time i test and has been like this for 2 years. this is 200% more reliable than optimum online

its not wrong you just get different results as i do from different sites

actually the adsl limit is about 1 mb upload and 8 mb download but adsl 2 and vdsl can go way faster than that and if your under 5000 feet then you shouldnt have a problem getting it. just check around and see when its cominb around

sorry but that doesnt make sense to have 2 download speeds. also no way you have 3 meg down with that speed cause that is like a 8 mb package and i doubt you get 2 mb over a 6 mb package. EX -- i get about 675 up and 5200 down and my package is 768 up and 6000 down so i think yours might be 1 mb up and 8 mb down around there. what kind of internet is it? dsl, cable, fiber optics or wireless Modified by Just-
