  6. there is no program that gives you host in halo 2 its picked by the servers and no matter what people say you get host cause it picks you not cause you think you made it do it. i am tired of hearing this on halo 2 forums and all that bs you CANT do it unless you hack bungie and i doubt that.
  7. speakeasy on top and covad on bottom. looks like they go the same way.lol
  8. i knew that was gonna happed to someone and it had to be you heh?<<<knows who you are team rd its basically halo 2's fault but you cant do anything about it unless they block you from getting host. if you want to host get rid of cable like i said cause hosting is against most cable isp's TOS.
  9. with some of those uploads are you allowed to run servers on that or no? i can on mine and was just wondering if anyone else can without being capped
  10. thats not bad speed for your distance cause you cant even get some adsl at that distance, http://www.broadbandreports.com/distance less than 5000 You will have little trouble getting all speeds of DSL 5000-10600 You may have trouble getting the highest advertised speeds 10600-15000 The danger zone for DSL from national CLECs like Covad. Advertised speeds are pinned back steadily until they reach 192k for 15,000 feet. If your line is longer than around 15000 feet, they may not accept an order. 15000-18000 In this range, Telco ADSL is normally still available, although it may be restricted to 300-500k speeds 18000-22000 Telco ADSL is not available, although in a few areas, RADSL may be a product you can get. RADSL is speed-variable. Some smaller DSL specialist CLECs may have solutions for you. 22000-28000 Using less commonly used DSL equipment, it is still possible to use lines of this length. 18000-28000 IDSL is an alternative or possibly the only alternative. IDSL is 144k/sec, about four-six times modem speed. 28000-38000 IDSL is the only alternative
  11. your in texas right? i think i remember hearing testmy.net was there too but i'm not sure
  12. that was my lan speed but i pay $120 a month and i also use smart ftp. awesome program
  13. 100 mb is a little over 12,200 so your close to max unless its gigabit ethernet and you can upgrade. i'm trying to get more myself and the most i ever got was about 17000 so i'm still goin till i hit MORE
  14. :notworthy: your speeds are sick.lol sometime this month i am getting another comp gigabit ethernet and getting a 16 port gigabit ethernet switch for streaming movies off my servers for my network only. also i am building a wireless link to my friend 2 blocks away which will add to my network
  15. i almost cried when i saw your speeds but here is my lan speed. pic 1 is 100 mb lan and pic 2 is 1000 mb lan 100 mb lan speed -- 11629.33 kB/s is 95267.47 Kbps Or 95.27 Mbps ::: 11.36 MB/sec 1000 mb lan speed -- 15187.12 kB/s is 124412.89 Kbps Or 124.41 Mbps ::: 14.83 MB/sec
  16. do you know how far you are from the central office? you can ask your internet provider by calling or you can use dsl reports distance tool (http://www.dslreports.com/prequal/distance) but its most likely wrong like most people i know that used it. depending on your distance we can probably squeeze a little more out of it but dsl is way harder to tweak cause of distance limits and line quality.
  17. whats your package speed and internet provider?

  19. also i can make that other site say i have 65 mb upload but i don't. its results can be manipulated by changing settings in cablenut so its not reliable.
  20. that site is way off and if you want me to show you i can make that other site say i have 65 mb upload and this site gives me 675 and others give me about 660. with optimum settings for this site the other 1 gives me 720, hmm thats weird cause thats my upload with overhead.
  21. i like that idea man !!! umm mods *cough do it cough *
