Just use windows then. Under Local Security Settings / IP Security Policies ( control panel > Administrative tools > right click on " IP security policy on local .." " If you have trouble, don't do anything that your not sure of. Or else lol 1. Create a new IP Filter list 2. Source IP is My IP address 3. Destination ( The IP that you want blocked ) 4. Protocol is any 5. Create a new IP Security Policy (use Kerberos 5 authentication) 6. Add an IP Security Rule (this rule is not a tunnel) (all network connections) 7. Add the new IP filter list that you just created. (require security) 8. Assign the new policy Make sure to assign the policy. You can use scripting as well, if your up for it lol

I would return them, chances are they are defective maybe ? I have an old pair of Koss UR-15's , I'm giving them to my boy, they sound good for what i need them for, but It gives me an exuse to get a nicer set lol , so let me know how this turns out, and how they sound.

Only thing i can say is something I'm sure you have already figured out, never force any hardware. Chances are the slot has been damaged. Like you said. You must have forced the type 2 in a type 1 slot, man, that should have thrown a flag right there. there's over 1/16 inch difference in the two from what I remember. Maybe I'm not reading this correctly, but does the wireless card work in the lower slot now, or is it messed up as well ?

Was the headset advertised for the computer ? Which one was it ? Any of the ones listed below ? cyberacoustics
